ADELE CONFIRMS SEPARATION FROM HUSBAND SIMON KONECKI – (04/22/2019)
Adele has split up from investment banker Simon Konecki, her husband of two years.
“Adele and her partner have separated,” Adele’s publicist said in a statement Friday. “They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always, they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.” Adele, 30, and Konecki, 45, are the parents of 6-year-old Angelo.
who divorced his first wife in 2008, met Adele in 2011. She first acknowledged their relationship in January of 2012, and in June of that year, announced that she and Konecki were expecting a child together. Angelo was born in October of that year.
It’s not clear when they tied the knot, but in early 2017 Adele and Konecki wore wedding rings, and Adele referred to him as “my husband” in February at the Grammy Awards. In March, she also said onstage that she was married.
BEYONCE LANDS $60 MILLION NETFLIX DEAL – (04/22/2019)
Variety has reported that Beyoncé inked a $60 million Netflix deal. Apparently, Bey signed a three-project deal and her recently released documentary, Homecoming, is the first of her three specials. Beyoncé, who is credited on the behind-the-scenes film about her Coachella performance as executive producer, writer, and director, was reportedly paid around $20 million for the nearly two-and-a-half-hour film.
In other news, according to Complex, HBO and Bey reportedly had talks regarding her documentary, Homecoming, but Netflix swooped in at the last minute with a larger amount of money for the documentary. Sources said that Bey’s conversations with Netflix fell through when the streaming platform stepped in with the hefty deal for Bey and her team.
Homecoming is currently available on Netflix.

On Friday, when a fan asked how she is feeling, she responded, “Lil better. i’m so happy i have y’all. and that y’all hear me and care. truly.”
‘CAPTAIN MARVEL’ HITS $400M WITH ‘AVENGERS’ BUMP – (04/22/2019)
Avengers: Endgame is expected to rock the box office next weekend, and reverberations of the Disney and Marvel presumed blockbuster are even being felt this week with Captain Marvel as fans rush to rewatch the 21 films in the Marvel Universe. Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel is in its seventh weekend in theaters, and this Easter, it managed $9.1 million, a 6% rise from the $8.6 million in earned last weekend.
The extra push propelled it past $400 million domestically, making it the seventh Marvel film to achieve that feat.
Endgame, out next week, is expected to set new records with the biggest opener in box office history domestically and globally. The current crown belongs to predecessor Avengers: Infinity War, which opened with $640 million globally and $257.6 million in North America.
