STEVIE NICKS MISTAKES HARRY STYLES FOR AN NSYNC MEMBER – (04/01/2019)

Harry Styles was on hand to honor Stevie Nicks at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, but she wasn’t exactly sure what group he used to be in.

The legendary singer was opening up about her bond with Harry backstage following the ceremony on Friday in New York City.

“What I really loved about Harry was that when he decided to make a solo record from NSYNC … he chose to make NSYNC,” she said before starting to correct herself. “Sorry, not NSYNC.”

“Sorry. I’m never going to live that one down, I know it. One Direction. Well, I liked One Direction too,” she added.

Harry also joined the legendary Fleetwood Mac singer to perform “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.”

In his speech to the star ahead of the award, Styles said: “Stevie Nicks is the first female artist to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a second time. First, with Fleetwood Mac, and now for her unforgettable solo work. With Stevie, you’re not celebrating music from long ago through the mists of time. She was standing on stage headlining a place doing her best work just three nights ago. She is forever current. She is forever Stevie.

He continued, “‘Dreams’ was the first song that I knew all the words to before I really knew what the words meant. I thought it was a song about the weather. But I knew that it was a beautiful song about the weather,” Harry said.

He added, “She’s so wise and serene. She sees all the romance and drama in the world and she celebrates it…She is a magical gypsy godmother who occupies the in-between. It’s a space that can and will only ever be hers.”

DEMI LOVATO SENDS POWERFUL MESSAGE AFTER READING BODY SHAMING HEADLINE – (04/01/2019)

Demi Lovato is clapping back at a journalist who commented on her weight in a headline.

The 26-year-old singer took to her Instagram story to respond after a seeing the body shaming headline that noted she “appears to have a fuller figure.”

“I AM MORE THAN MY WEIGHT,” Demi wrote, before opening up about the dangers of body commentary in the media.

She continued, “Unlike the past, I’m not triggered, I’m not upset that someone wrote a headline about my ‘fuller figure.’ I’m angry that people think it’s okay to write headlines about people’s body shapes. Especially a woman who has been so open about being in recovery from an eating disorder. I’m not upset for myself but for anyone easily influenced by the diet culture.”

Demi went on to send a message to those struggling with body confidence and included the apology she received from the article’s author.

“Thank you for understanding where I‘m coming from,” Demi responded. “Let’s create change together.”

MEGHAN TRAINOR SAYS SHE IS STILL MARRIED AFTER FORGETTING RING AT HOME – (04/01/2019)

Meghan Trainor says everything is a-okay with her and hubby Daryl Sabara.

Meghan forgot her wedding ring for the first time since marrying Sabara in December as she hit the red carpet at the 2019 GLAAD Media Awards on Thursday.

“Now that I’m a wife – I’m sorry, bae – [It’s my] first red carpet I forgot my ring,” Trainor revealed to ET. “So nothing’s wrong. Nobody panic at home – everything’s great. I just simply forgot!”

“Marriage is great, though,” she continued, praising Sabara. “He sings backup on every single song I write now. He’s in the tracks, the background tracks, and he actually writes songs with me now too. He’s learning. He’s like, ‘This is my dream,’ because he loves music. So, this is a dream come true.”

However, the couple isn’t planning to start a family – just yet anyway.

“Oh my god, if I could be pregnant right now, I totally would,” she said. “And if I could pop out two kids right now, I totally would, but I gotta like, tour one more time, and I’m exhausted.”

“I’m like, ‘Tour, kid, plus this?’ Like, I just won’t have time,” she explained. “When I got married, I was like, ‘Let’s do it!’ Like, I got inspired, and I had to reel it in. I had to be like, ‘Listen,’ so we got a dog. We got another dog!”

Trainor is focusing on her upcoming third album. “I’m sticking to my roots about writing inspirational, big anthems about loving yourself. And Treat Myself is the album and I got a couple big songs on there that are sassy,” she teased. “I have amazing features that I can’t talk about yet, but you will drop on the floor. Like, you are going to freak out!”

‘A STAR IS BORN’ SOUNDTRACK SURPASSES ONE MILLION IN US SALES: The soundtrack for A Star Is Born has surpassed one million copies sold in the U.S. It sold 16,000 copies in the week ending March 21st, helping it reach its new total of 1,003,000 after 24 weeks, according to Billboard. This marks Lady Gaga’s fourth million-selling album, following Born This Way, The Fame and The Fame Monster. The last album to sell a million was another soundtrack, The Greatest Showman, which was released in December 2017 and reached the milestone after 23 weeks. A Star Is Born, which includes the Oscar-winning No. 1 hit “Shallow,” is so far the top-selling album of 2019, with 298,000 copies sold this year.

MILEY CYRUS PROMISES ‘BIG CHANGES’ ARE ‘COMING SOON’; TRANSFORMS BACK INTO HANNAH MONTANA – (03/29/2019)

Miley Cyrus is teasing that major developments are on the way. “BIG changes coming soon! Keep ya posted!” Miley shared on social media.

In the past week, Miley has been teasing music in a series of colorful snaps posted to her Instagram, even using the hashtag #CantRushPerfection to satiate eager fans.

Any new music or other “changes” would be a follow-up to Miley’s latest collaboration with Mark Ronson, “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart,” which peaked at No. 43 on the Hot 100 in January. 

Meanwhile, Miley has become Hannah Montana again – at least in her appearance. The singer revealed on her Instagram that she dyed her light brown and blonde hair platinum like her Disney Channel alter ego. She added extensions and blunt bangs to replicate her Disney character’s iconic long blonde locks.

In the show, Cyrus wore a wig when she was Hannah, her pop star persona. She had her natural brown hair when she was just her normal self, Miley Stewart. But last night’s hair unveiling is all real, Cyrus told everyone on her Instagram Story. “#NoFilter #NoWig ALL ME!” she captioned a shot of her finished hair from the back.

Cyrus paid homage to her character in multiple Instagram and Twitter posts. She also has been frequently linking out to a @hannahmontana Instagram account on her Stories. There’s no posts there yet, but that seems likely to change soon.

JAY-Z TO RECEIVE PRESIDENT’S AWARD AT NAACP AWARDS – (03/29/2019)

JAY-Z will be honored with the prestigious President’s Award at the upcoming NAACP Awards. According to Rap-Up, the award is given in recognition of a special environment and distinguished public service. Other people to receive the President’s Award includes Lauryn Hill, Muhammad Ali, Jesse Jackson, Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice.

The NAACP Image Awards made the announcement on Thursday (March 28th), saying, “

NAACAP President Derrick Johnson will present Hov with the award at the event, which will air live from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday (March 30th).

KALEY CUOCO’S RESPONSE TO A FAN RETURNING HER WALLET WILL GIVE YOU ALL THE FEELS – (03/29/2019)

The Big Bang Theory is beginning to wind down its epic run, so the stars may be feeling an extra little something for their devoted fans. Kaley Cuoco literally cried tears of joy recently when a fan returned her wallet.

The 33-year-old posted several videos to her Instagram Story recounting the events. 

“So I have had the strangest week,” the actress began. “It’s been very up and down, very emotional to be honest. Probably just coming to the end of the show and, I don’t know, lots of other things, but a really sweet thing happened to me a few days ago and I had to share.”

She continued, sharing the moment she realized her wallet was missing: “I became fully hysterical and didn’t know where it was and traced my steps and was like, ‘Oh my God, I left it there. It’s gone. It’s gone. I was crying. I was so upset. So I called (the restaurant) and someone had turned it in.”

The person who returned it is apparently a fan, because inside the wallet was a piece of paper that read “Penny,” the name of her character. 

“Whoever did that, whoever is out there, thank you,” she continued. “I wish I could’ve met you. I would’ve given you all the cash in my wallet or whatever was in there. I really would’ve given you anything. I was so grateful that there was someone so sweet on this earth, and honest. And it didn’t go unnoticed and I will never forget that because that could’ve been a very bad day for me.”

Cuoco concluded: “So there is good in the world.” 

JOHN LEGEND TO PRODUCE ‘LOVE AT FIRST SONG’ MUSIC-DATING REALITY SHOW: John Legend’s Get Lifted Film Co. is partnering with American Idol producer Simon Lythgoe’s Legacy Productions and Critical Content to produce the new reality show Love at First Song. The show “creates couples through emotional performances in which single singers “virtually” rehearse a romantic duet, then reveal themselves and their potential chemistry during performance. These couples then live together, practice together, perform and compete together, but may swap partners in every episode – for love or music,” Deadline reports. Love at First Song originally debuted in South Korea to huge success and now John and his new partners want to bring the show to the U.S.

ARIANA GRANDE TO DROP NEW SONG WITH VICTORIA MONET – (03/29/2019)

Ariana Grande and her friend and collaborator Victoria Monet are planning to release a brand new track on Monday. Ariana first tweeted the idea, initially saying she wanted to release the song as early as Thursday.

“man, let’s drop it tomorrow night @VictoriaMonet seven rings is ab to be number one for eight weeks and the album might go back to no. 1 too….” she wrote. “we need to celebrate tbh ! life too short and too sweet rn. hmmmmmmm.”

But Ariana and Victoria soon determined the song would have to drop on Monday because it was “not mastered or ready” yet.

Ariana and Victoria performed an unreleased track called “She Got Her Own” during Ariana’s Washington, D.C. show earlier this week, but the one being released Monday is apparently titled “Monopoly.”

Monet co-wrote Ari’s seven-week Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “7 Rings.”

WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER BARGING INTO JUSTIN BIEBER’S HOTEL ROOM – (03/28/2019)

A woman was arrested on Tuesday after barging into Justin Bieber’s hotel room in Laguna Beach, California, though she reportedly entered the room by mistake.

Police said the woman had been partying and roaming the hallways earlier in the day and had already been escorted off the property by security. She later returned to the hotel and made her way into Bieber’s room. Sources say the singer told the woman to leave before his security intervened and held her until police arrived.

The woman was arrested for trespassing and police say she appeared to be drunk and claimed to have entered Bieber’s room by mistake. Sources said she had visited hotel guests on Monday night and stayed in a room near Bieber’s.

The incident came just one day after Bieber opened up to fans in a candid Instagram post in which he shared that he is prioritizing his mental health rather than working on new music.

On Monday, the 25-year-old posted a message explaining that while he knows his fans are eager for new songs, his health is more important.

PANIC! AT THE DISCO REACHES CAREER HIGH IN TOUR EARNINGS – (03/28/2019)

Panic! At The Disco has raked in a total of $49 million on the band’s current Pray for the Wicked Tour, which launched on July 11th, 2018 in Minneapolis. The gross, a career-high mark for the band, comes from two separate North American legs, plus a week of dates in Australia.

The group had never grossed $1 million in one night as a headliner before embarking on this trek, but has crossed the seven-figure mark six times since, highlighted by a January 16th show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

The Pray for the Wicked Tour‘s reported gross of $49 million is an incredible 170 percent increase over the $18.1 million earned on the band’s 2017 Death of a Bachelor Tour. That in itself was already a giant leap forward from the act’s previous co-headlining run with Weezer and its own 2011 Vices & Virtues Tour.

The band’s fortunes on the road have converged with it resurgence as a powerhouse modern rock act. “High Hopes,” the current single from the Pray For The Wicked album, has been a fixture in the alternative Top 10 for months and has crossed over to the pop and adult formats.

Panic will continue touring throughout Europe before closing the Pray for the Wicked Tour on April 4th in Hamburg, Germany.

KATE BECKINSALE IS SURPRISED BY THE INTEREST IN HER RELATIONSHIP WITH PETE DAVIDSON – (03/28/2019)

Kate Beckinsale, 45, is a little confused by all the attention her romance with SNL star Pete Davidson, 25, as garnered. The pair, ICYMI, have been photographed making out in cars, at hockey games, a premieres, and getting parental intros in recent months, and the internet has been FREAKING OUT. (So much so, Beckinsale purged her Instagram account and Davidson addressed it on SNL’s “Weekend Update”). 

In a recent sit-down with the Los Angeles Times, she discusses their relationship (without actually naming him). 

ON THE MEDIA ATTENTION

Beckinsale said: “I’m surprised by the interest. I’ve never been in this position before—never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief. It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to. I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it. If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it’s not.”

Justin Bieber has had enough of trolls sending him and his wife Hailey Bieber messages that he should get back with Selena Gomez.

Bieber took to Instagram to respond to a comment that slammed his marriage and claimed he only married Hailey to get back at Selena. He posted a lengthy comment in response, and then reposted the entire exchange on his Instagram Story with a message to fans, “Stop sending Hailey and I these messages. If you love me screenshot this and repost everywhere.”

In part, Justin’s response to the troll read, “I absolutely loved and love Selena she will always hold a place in my heart, but I am head over [heels] in love with my wife and she is absolutely the BEST THING that has ever happened to me period.”

He added, “This is a reply to all immature sick people who send Hailey hurtful messages like ‘he always goes back to Selena’ or ‘Selena is better for him.’ YOU HAVE NO IDEA MY LIFE AND WHAt’s good for me!!” Hailey is my Bride period if you don’t like that or support that that means you don’t support me and if you don’t support me [you’re] not a fan nor a good person.

AVICII’S FAMILY LAUNCHES CHARITABLE FOUNDATION IN HIS NAME – (03/27/2019)

The family of the late DJ Avicii is honoring the musician’s memory with a mental health-focused foundation set to launch on the one-year anniversary of his death.

The Tim Bergling Foundation, named after the DJ’s given moniker, will debut April 20th with a focus on supporting those with mental illness and suicide prevention.

“Tim wanted to make a difference. Starting a foundation in his name is our way to honor his memory and continue to act in his spirit,” the family said in a press release.

The Tim Bergling Foundation will later expand to include initiatives for climate change, endangered species protection and nature conservation.

The 28-year-old Swedish hitmaker died in Muscat, Oman, two years after he announced his retirementt from touring following years of chronic health problems including acute pancreatitis. Shortly after his death, Avicii’s family issued a statement implying the musician died from suicide.

SIA HAS MORE VIDEOS IN YOUTUBE’S BILLION VIEWS CLUB THAN ANY OTHER FEMALE ARTIST: Sia has hit a milestone in YouTube’s Billion Views Club. The singer’s video for “Elastic Heart” has now surpassed a billion views, making it her fifth video as a lead artist, featured artist or collaborator to do so. That means she now has more videos the Billion Views Club than any other female artist on YouTube. Her other videos with more than a billion views include “Chandelier,” “Cheap Thrills,” “Titanium” with David Guetta, and “Diamonds,” the song she wrote for Rihanna. Meanwhile, Post Malone just entered the Billion Views Club for the first time, thanks to his 2017 video for “Congratulations.”

MATTEL PREVIEWS BTS DOLL COLLECTION: Mattel is giving fans a glimpse of its BTS doll collection. The company unveiled its line of dolls in the likeness of BTS members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook. Mattel shared a photo on Twitter featuring all six dolls in the collection. The dolls are inspired by the K-pop group’s music video for “Idol.” Mattel also shared individual photos of each member’s doll and outfit. RM wears a blue printed suit with a green shirt and white sneakers. BTS last released the album Love Yourself: Answer in August, and will kick off a new stadium tour in May. In addition, BTS shared plans this month for a new EP. The group will release Map of the Soul: Persona on April 12th.

NICK, JOE, & KEVIN JONAS FILMING A SECRET NEW PROJECT – (03/26/2019)

It looks like the Jonas Brothers are filming something new.

Nick, Joe, and Kevin were seen on a boat on Sunday in Miami, Florida, and there were cameras on board with them. They were also were spotted at the historic International Inn, both on the ground floor and at the rooftop pool. It appears like they were going for an 80’s vibe, dressed in colorful and flashy suits that were paired with t-shirts.

The guys made at least one wardrobe change into black pants, a blue blazer and a white ruffled shirt. While dressed in the matching outfits, Nick took to his Instagram Story and posted a video where he looks into the camera, then pans to brother Joe, and utters: “B*tch stole my look.”

Nick himself teased, “Shooting something…,” on his Instagram account.

In early March, the band got back together to release the song and music video for “Sucker.”

JUSTIN BIEBER WRITES EMOTIONAL NOTE TO FANS; SLEEPS IN HYPERBARIC OXYGEN CHAMBER – (03/26/2019)

Justin Bieber is opening up to fans with an update on his life and career.

The 25-year-old singer responded to fans who are hoping for new music and told them that he currently needs to focus on his health and family.

“So I read a lot of messages saying you want an album .. I’ve toured my whole teenage life, and early 20s, I realized and as you guys probably saw I was unhappy last tour and I don’t deserve that and you don’t deserve that, you pay money to come and have a lively energetic fun light concert and I was unable emotionally to give you that near the end of the tour,” Justin wrote in the note on his Instagram account.

Justin then added that he is now “very focused on repairing some of the deep-rooted issues that I have as most of us have, so that I don’t fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be.”

The post comes after another message earlier this month where Justin admitted that he’s “struggling” and asked for prayers. He last went on tour in support of his album Purpose, but after 18 months on the road, he cancelled the rest of the run in July 2017 due to “extreme exhaustion.”

Bieber also shared video on his Instagram Story of himself sleeping inside a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Justin’s wife Hailey snapped one video of her zipping him into the chamber, captioning it, “sleeping in the HBOT.” In another clip, Justin is snug inside the tube. “Sleep tight lover,” Hailey wrote.

In other Justin news, he’s being blamed for an influx of tourists to a picturesque canyon in Iceland. He filmed his 2015 music video for “I’ll Show You” there and since then, according to the Environmental Agency of Iceland, foot traffic to area has increased significantly. The area will now be closed to the public until June to give paths and vegetation around the canyon a chance to improve.

SPICE GIRLS MEL B & GERI HALLIWELL HAD A ONE-NIGHT FLING – (03/26/2019)

Spice Girl Mel B has revealed that she was groupmate Geri Halliwell’s lover – for one night anyway.

During an interview with U.K. journalist Piers Morgan for his TV show Mel nodded and smiled when Morgan asked her point-blank if she and Geri had a sexual encounter. An exasperated Mel said:

[“She’s going to hate me for this because she’s all posh in her country house and her husband.]

When Morgan asked her if their affair continued for a while and if they were in love, Mel responded, “We were best friends…It just happens one time, you talk about it and it doesn’t really happen again.” Mel also threw in the fact that Geri “had great boobs.”

Asked if she had similar encounters with the other Spice Girls, Mel said, “Well, when I got my tongue pierced we all kissed. But that was just a kiss because I wanted to know what it felt like. It was just a silly kiss. Nothing sexual like that.”

The Spice Girls’ reunion tour gets underway this summer in the U.K.

HBO’s SCAVENGER HUNT: HBO set up a world-wide scavenger hunt for Game of Thrones fans. Six 600 pound iron knife-chair thrones are hidden somewhere in the globe. So far, thrones have been found in  Björkliden, Sweden; Puzzlewood, England; Atienza, Spain and Beberibe, Brazil. The frosty Throne of Ice is still MIA and a sixth and final throne will be unveiled this week.

ARIANA GRANDE WINS BIG AT ‘KIDS CHOICE AWARDS’ AS ‘FULLER HOUSE’ CAST REFERENCES CHEATING SCANDAL – (03/25/2019)

DJ Khaled hosted the 2019 Nickelodean Kids’ Choice Awards Saturday night, which broadcast live from USC’s Galen Center in L.A. The awards are voted on by fans and span a variety of categories, from movies to music social media. 

Ariana Grande, who is currently on tour, shared a video thanking fans when she took home awards for best song (“thank u, next”) and favorite female artist. Chris Pratt earned the dubious honor of being slimed live after taking home the award for favorite butt-kicker for his work in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. 

Other winners included Avengers: Infinity War, Adam Sandler and Hotel Translvania 3, Fuller House, Incredibles 2, Shawn Mendes and Zendaya.

HIGHLIGHTS

Many celebs were in attendance, but Fuller House’s Lori Loughlin’s was notably absent. The 54-year-old is embroiled in a college admissions scandal and is not expected to return for the fifth season of Fuller House. (She is expected in federal court on April 3rd). 

When Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber took to the stage to accept the award, they subtly referenced her saying a family “sticks together through the hard times.” 

Here’s what they said: [Barber says: “Thank you for voting Fuller House as your Favorite Funny TV Show. You have been laughing alongside our family for four seasons and this family has a lot of heart.” Bure adds: “And where there’s a lot of heart, there’s a lot of love. And a loving family sticks together no matter what. They stick together through the hard times, they support each other, they encourage one another, they pray for each other and they stand by their side no matter how tough it gets. And a loving family that also sticks together, also celebrates the really good times.” Sweetin says: “This is one of those good times. You’ve stuck with us for 30 years and we love you all so much. Several celebs presented, including Jason Sudeikis, Noah Centineo, Lana Condor, Joey King, Liza Koshy, Paris Berelc, Caleb McLaughlin, Kiernan Shipka, Ally Brooke, Josh Peck, Lilly Singh and David Dobrik, along with cast members from Disney‘s Aladdin (Will Smith, Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott), Shazam! (Zachary Levi, Asher Angel and Jack Dylan Grazer) and Dora and the Lost City of Gold (Isabela Moner and Eugenio Derbez).

Migos also performed a medley of their hits. The group, who were nominated for their first Kids’ Choice Award in the category of favorite music group, were joined onstage by Grammy-winning record producer and songwriter DJ Mustard.

Nickelodeon favorites JoJo Siwa, Jace Norman and Riele Downs (Henry Danger), Ryan of Ryan ToysReview (Ryan’s Mystery Playdate), Scarlet Spencer and Dallas Dupree Young (Cousins for Life) and Owen Joyner, Daniella Perkins and Lilimar (Knight Squad) also appeared.

CARDI B SUING TWO VLOGGERS FOR DEFAMATION – (03/25/2019)

Cardi B is suing two vloggers who accused her of drug use and prostitution. According to TMZ, Cardi has filed a lawsuit against a vlogger named Latasha K, who posted 23 slanderous videos about her over the last 14 months. In one video, which was posted last April, Latasha said that Cardi’s baby might be born with intellectual disabilities, suggesting that she used drugs during her pregnancy. 

Cardi is also suing Starmarie Ebony Jones, who posted a video back in September accusing the rapper of taking drugs including molly and cocaine, and engaging in prostitution. Jones also allegedly said, “Just a Grammy nominated prostitute running around spreading her herpes.” 

In the lawsuit, Cardi said that she has never been a prostitute or used cocaine and molly. She also denied having herpes. The rapper said that she has given the vloggers a chance to retract their statements, but they’ve refused to do so. Cardi is suing for defamation and is seeking an injunction to delete the videos they posted. 

On another note, according to Complex, the security crew that worked for Cardi and the Migos at last year’s Met Gala in New York is reportedly in the clear regarding potential charges stemming from an incident with an autograph hound. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that a would-be assault case from the alleged autograph hound has been closed.

CARDI B RESPONDS TO ‘OKURRR’ TRADEMARK CRITICISM 

In other news, Cardi has responded to criticism she received after reports surfaced that she is trademarking her catchphrase, “Okurrr.” She said in a video posted to Instagram, “Wait, wait, wait… So you h*es is mad because I trademark ‘Okurrr?’ Let me tell you something, every single time I go to a corporate meeting these folks be like, ‘I can’t wait to hear you say okurrr.’ Every time I go to a TV show… ‘Hey, hey can you teach me how to say okurrr?’ Every time I go do a commercial, ‘Hey can you finish it off with okurrr?’ You think I ain’t gonna profit off this s***? B**** white folks do it all the motha f***in time. You wanna be mad at me because I wanna get some motha f***in money? While I’m still here I’m gonna secure all the f***ing bags.” 

She added, “Let me give y’all a secret too. It’s 2019 b****es. It’s a lot of ways to get rich. Y’all just gotta get y’all selves some business, and stop minding motha f***ing others. I’m a get this bag while I’m here h*.”

KATE BECKINSALE SCRUBS INSTAGRAM AMID PETE DAVIDSON ROMANCE – (03/25/2019)

And …. refresh! Amid a budding romance with Pete Davidson, 25, which has turned a white-hot spotlight her way, Kate Beckinsale, 45, has scrubbed her Instagram. No word on why she purged her account, but her account is up and her 2.8 million+ count of followers is still there.

She and Davidson have gotten a ton of attention—much of it bemused—over their 20-year-age gap, and Davidson acknowledged the implicit sexism of the sitch in a recent SNL bit on “Weekend Update,” pointing out that dozens of male actors date much-younger female stars, and no one raises a brow to that. She has also poked fun at some of her detractors on social media. 

Recently, Beckinsale introduced her mother to Davidson, and friends have said they’re serious.

JENNIFER LOPEZ ANNOUNCES DATES FOR ‘IT’S MY PARTY TOUR’; RECEIVES CONGRATULATIONS NOTE ON ENGAGEMENT FROM OBAMAS – (03/25/2019)

Jennifer Lopez has announced the concert dates for her upcoming North American It’s My Party tour which will take place over the summer.

Lopez will be kicking things off on June 7th in Los Angeles before wrapping things up on July 25th in Miami. Lopez will also be performing in cities such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, New York, Philadelphia and Atlanta, among others. Tickets go on sale for the general public starting on March 29th. Lopez previously announced the tour in February while appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The singer said the tour was in celebration of her 50th birthday, which takes place on July 24th. Besides performances by Lopez, the tour will also feature “The World of Dance Experience,” including surprise guest dance performances from Lopez’ NBC dance show World of Dance.

Meanwhile, Alex Rodriguez showed off a note sent to him by former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama after getting engaged to JLo. The ex-New York Yankees star posted an image of the note on his Instagram.

“Jennifer and Alex, Michelle and I just wanted to congratulate you on your engagement. After 26 years together, we can say that whatever challenges life may bring, sharing them with someone you love makes it all better. All the best, Barack Obama,” the note reads. Rodriguez said the note “means the world to us. #44”

The couple got engaged earlier this month and announced the news with a post on Instagram showing off the massive rock he got Lopez.

DEMI LOVATO EARNS STRIPE ON HER BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU BELT – (03/22/2019)

Demi Lovato is celebrating a personal milestone after receiving her second stripe on her blue belt after diving into Brazilian jiu-jitsu following her near-fatal overdose.

Demi shared the proud moment on Instagram, posting a picture of her belt with the newest stripe addition. “2nd degree blue belt!!!!” Lovato wrote while tagging her professor, Chris Light.

For her accomplishment, she also received a handwritten note from Light with the famous jiu-jitsu saying, “Earned. Not Given.”

“This means the world to me and I couldn’t be happier. Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a passion of mine and I can’t wait to learn more and more,” Lovato captioned the pic. “thank you @1chrislight for teaching me so much..I can’t believe how far I’ve come since working together. You’re a legend!!”

Demi Lovato received her second stripe the same month she knocked out Jay Glazer’s front tooth during a kickboxing session.

Demi previously earned her blue belt in August 2017.  It’s the second level out of seven in the jiu-jitsu system.

Lovato has been focused on maintaining her healthy lifestyle and sobriety and isn’t planning on rushing back to work.

LADY GAGA REPORTEDLY ‘SPENDING TIME’ WITH JEREMY RENNER – (03/22/2019)

Lady Gaga has been hanging out with actor Jeremy Renner.

A source tells Us Weekly that Gaga and the Oscar-nominated actor have been “spending a lot of time together,” but they “don’t believe it’s romantic at this point.”

The source dishes that Gaga has been hanging with the Avengers star and his six-year-old daughter Ava, who he shares with his ex, Sonni Pacheco.

If Gaga’s pre-production behavior with Bradley Cooper is anything to go by, this could mean that Gaga’s lined up another acting job, and Renner’s part of the project.

Gaga’s legion of Little Monsters claim to have receipts that at least prove she and Renner are friendly. According to one fan, the two stars hung out at the Black Rabbit Rose in Los Angeles last week, where Gaga gave an impromptu jazz performance.

A Renner fan account on Twitter posted a video of Gaga’s performance and claims you can hear his voice in the background.

The news comes one month after the Oscar winner called off her engagement to Christian Carino. Since then, the songstress has been having a blast on her own. On March 17th, Gaga was seen hanging out with Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd at their Pump Restaurant.

MAROON 5’S ‘GIRLS LIKE YOU’ VIDEO HITS TWO BILLION VIEWS IN 10 MONTHS – (03/22/2019)

Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You” is one of the band’s biggest hits, if not the biggest, and its innovative, star-studded video is one reason why. Now the video has reached an impressive milestone.

The video, with its message of female empowerment, released May 30, 2018, has now racked up two billion views across Vevo and YouTube. It reached that milestone in just 10 months, according to Billboad.

“Girls Like You” featured Adam Levine singing while surrounded by notable and accomplished women, among them Jennifer Lopez, Tiffany Haddish, Gal Gadot, Mary J. Blige, Chloe Kim, Aly Raisman, Sarah Silverman, Ellen DeGeneres, Danica Patrick, Elizabeth Banks, Ashley Graham and more.

The song itself was No1 for seven weeks and spent 33 weeks in the top 10, and the video landed the song on the New York Times’ recent list of “The Top 25 Songs That Matter Right Now.”

The Times describe Levine in the video as “the ultimate embodiment of a stubbly, privileged white bro who belatedly realizes that he needs his partner.”

“I have two young daughters, and to think about them being mistreated at all – ever – made my blood boil,” Levine recently told Variety of the tune. “So we went for it because I felt that as long as I stayed close to my heart with this concept, I could never go wrong. … In the video, I was doing it for my kids and my wife. If anyone doesn’t understand the intentions, f*ck ’em.”

DAVID LETTERMAN TELLS ELLEN DEGENERES HE STAYED TOO LONG ON ‘LATE SHOW’ – (03/22/2019)

Here’s there exchange: Letterman said: [“Here’s the mistake I made. I stayed on television way too long…” DeGeneres: “That’s not true.” Letterman: “Yes, it is true and I’ll tell you what happened. Turns out nobody had the guts to fire me. I should have left 10 years ago.”

Letterman then heaped praise on DeGeneres “energy” for life and projects outside of her TV.  “All I cared about was myself, and then the show was gone and I had to realize, ‘Oh, I’ve been looking through the wrong end of the telescope. There’s more to life than, ‘So tell me about your pet beaver.’”

Letterman can next be seen in Netflix’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, which consists of interviews with one high-profile guest per hour-long episode. DeGeneres will appear as a guest in season 2. The premiere date of the second season has not yet been announced.

MICHAEL JACKSON WILL REMAIN IN ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME: Despite Michael Jackson’s child abuse allegations, the icon will remain in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. According to TMZ, Jackson’s name and memorabilia will not be removed from the exhibit. A spokesperson for the Hall of Fame said that Jackson, as well as all of the other inductees, was recognized for musical excellence and talent, and will have a lasting impact on rock ’n’ roll.
