TAYLOR SWIFT SIGNS DEAL WITH UNIVERSAL MUSIC PUBLISHING GROUP: Taylor Swift is moving from Sony/ATV Music Publishing to Universal Music Publishing Group. Universal Music Publishing Group announced that Swift signed an exclusive global publishing deal, which puts all of the singer’s future creative output under the Universal banner. Swift was with Sony/ATV for the majority of her career, and is believed to have completed her contract with the company in late 2019. The new UMPG deal reunites her with former Sony/ATV Nashville head Troy Tomlinson, who became chairman and CEO of UMPG Nashville in July. Swift signed with Universal Music Group in 2018 after leaving her record label, Big Machine Records. UMG’s Republic Records is now her U.S. record label.
KOBE AND GIANNA BRYANT’S MEMORIAL TO BE HELD AT THE STAPLES CENTER – (02/07/2020)
Kobe and Gianna Bryant‘s memorial service will be held at the Staples Center on February 24th. According to ABC News, the date of the memorial signifies the basketball numbers worn by the NBA icon and 13-year-old Gianna.
According to ESPN, the memorial was scheduled after coordination among the Los Angeles Police Department, city officials and the Clippers organization.
Previous reports stated that the ceremony was in talks to be held at other venues in Los Angeles, like The Coliseum, which holds 80,000 people. The Staples Center holds 20,000 people.
ARE MEGHAN MARKLE AND PRINCE HARRY MOVING TO L.A.? – (02/07/2020)
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are making plans to spend more time in L.A. this summer, sources tell People mag.
The pair, who fled the U.K. (and their royal perches) for more freedom in Canada, are currently living in Vancouver Island, and have been photographed out and about on hikes.
A source says: “They love being in Canada, but they are looking at houses in L.A. too. They’ll likely have houses in both places.”
The insider continues: “They are enjoying living a quiet life. They go for long walks, they do yoga, and Meghan cooks. They are real homebodies who love to chill out with Archie and the dogs.”
The Suits alum has a large circle of friends in L.A., and her mother Doria Ragland lives there as well. Plus, there’s Hollywood, where Meghan is reportedly exploring opportunities to do voice work or produce documentaries that reflect their progressive social leanings again. Some industry experts say branding opportunities could bring them $100 million this year alone.
Meanwhile in Canada, the pair have installed extra security cameras and put up tarps to block looksy-loos.

POST MALONE DEBUTS NEW FACE TATTOO – (02/07/2020)
Post Malone added a new tattoo to his face Wednesday night backstage at his show at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Tattoo artist Ruben Reza of Junction City Tattoo uploaded several pictures on Instagram of him giving Posty his latest ink: a bloody saw blade on his cheek.
Photographer and videographer Adam DeGross captured the moment and shared a series of behind-the-scenes snaps on Instagram.
Unlike all the other tattoos on the star’s face, this one has color on it. In a Super Bowl Doritos commercial, Post gets a tattoo of a bright red Flamin’ Hot Limon chip on his face, but that wasn’t real.
His new ink comes just less than two months after Posty added a tattoo of a medieval gauntlet holding a flail to the right side of his face along his jawline and down to his chin.

Nick tweeted, “Priyanka and I want you to be a part of our exciting new series with @PrimeVideo. If you’re planning on getting married in the Spring or early Summer of 2020, we want to hear YOUR love story.”
The tweet invites fans to visit CastingEngagedCouples.com, where you’ll submit your details in hopes of being selected for what’s described as “a groundbreaking new television series that celebrates love, marriage and the magic that ensues when friends and family come together for an epic performance on the evening before your wedding.”
The celebrity power couple, who tied the knot in December 2018 in Christian and Hindu ceremonies, will work with couples as they prepare for a sangeet. The traditional ceremony involves friends and family participating in a song and dance extravaganza prior to a wedding.
