NURSE RECIEVES SURPRISE GIFT FROM TAYLOR SWIFT – (04/15/2021)
Taylor Swift showed her appreciation for a flight nurse by sending her a handwritten note and a box of merchandise.
The singer sent the gift after reading the self-proclaimed Swiftie’s interview with Georgia newspaper, The Telegraph, about her “true passion for helping people.”
Britta Thomason shared photos of the note and a video of herself opening the gift on her Facebook page Tuesday (April 13th).
Thomason wrote, “I mentioned in a recent news article with The Telegraph & macon.com that I am a big Taylor Swift fan…and this showed up at work today!! I’ve always seen videos of her fans opening packages she sent them but never did I EVER think I would be one of them! I’m not one to fangirl about anything, but if you know me, you know I’m a Swiftie! Don’t mind me…I’ll be crying the rest of the day.”
The box included sweaters, shirts, water bottles, guitar picks and a note that read, “Dear Britta, I wanted to write to you and personally thank you for serving on the front lines of this pandemic and for being brave enough to put yourself in danger to help others.
“I am so inspired by your passion for helping and caring for your patients and I was so touched that you mentioned liking my music recently! I’ve sent you some cozy clothes for when you’re off duty. I’ll be thinking about you, and forever grateful! Love, Taylor.”
JUSTIN VERNON TEASED COLLABORATION WITH TAYLOR SWIFT – (04/15/2021)
Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon teased his collaboration with Taylor Swift during an Instagram Live session Tuesday (April 13th).
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinal reports that he also played unreleased music featuring the voices of Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold and Anais Mitchell.
It is unclear if the song with Swift is for Bon Iver or Big Red Machine, Vernon’s project with The National’s Aaron Dessner, who produced Swift;s folklore and evermore albums.
Vernon previously collaborated with Swift on the songs “exile” and “evermore.”
MILEY CYRUS IS THE NEW FACE OF GUCCI – (04/15/2021)
Miley Cyrus is the face of Gucci’s new Aria collection in a new “short selfie film.”
The singer shared a snippet of the video on Instagram Wednesday (April 14th). The full clip, created for the debut of Allesandro Michele’s newest collection will be unveiled on Thursday (April 15th) at 9a.m. ET.
BEBE REXHA ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM AND SINGLE – (04/15/2021)
Bebe Rexha had two big announcements to make on social media Wednesday (April 14th).
The singer’s next album, Better Mistakes, will be released on May 7th and the single “Sabotage” drops Friday (April 16th).
The singer teased the big surprise on Tuesday (April 13th), writing, “I get to make a very special announcement tomorrow, news I’ve been wanting to share for a long long time. Thank you for your patience. I love making music and you all more than anything else in the world”
MACHINE GUN KELLY is launching his own line of unisex nail polish called UN/DN. Page Six reports that the line will launch in the fall in partnership with Unlisted Brand Lab.
KATE TO MAKE PEACE BETWEEN HARRY & WILLIAM? – (04/15/2021)
All eyes will be on Princes William and Harry at Prince Philip’s funeral Saturday. The brothers, who have been at odds since Harry and Meghan Markle left their senior royal posts, saw their relationship worsen after their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.
In the interview, Harry confirmed rumors that he and his brother had been growing apart, saying “the relationship is ‘space’ at the moment” — though he added that “time heals all things, hopefully.”
He said that his father Prince Charles was also not accepting his calls.
Saturday will be the first time the brothers come face-to-face since they left the U.K. for California with their son Archie. Many expect the reunion to be emotional, and perhaps a reminder of their shared grief when they walked behind their mother Princess Diana’s coffin in 1997.
Some are even pegging Kate Middleton, William’s wife, as the potential peacemaker between the brothers.

Adapted by Zeller and Oscar-winner Christopher Hampton (Dangerous Liaisons), from Zeller’s stage play, The Son focuses on Peter (Jackman) as his life with his wife and baby is disrupted when his ex-wife Kate (Dern) shows up with their teenage son, Nicholas.
