JUSTIN BIEBER ANNOUNCES RESCHEDULED WORLD TOUR DATES – (05/07/2021)
Justin Bieber has announce his rescheduled world tour dates. Originally set to start this summer, it will now begin next year.
Bieber stated in a press release: “We’re working hard to make this tour the best one yet. I’m excited to get out there and engage with my fans again.”
The tour kicks off February 18, in San Diego and will wrap June 24, 2022 in Milwaukee.
Tickets for new shows go on sale later this month. Specifics will be announced through his website.
MADAME TUSSAUDS CREATES ARIANA GRANDE WAX FIGURE THAT CAN BE BOOKED FOR PARTIES – (05/07/2021)
An Ariana Grande wax figure is now on display in Hollywood. It’s currently at The Roosevelt Hotel and is presented by Madam Tussauds.
Fans can actually book the Ariana Grande wax figure for display at parties at the hotel.
The setting around her is a pyramid of champagne glasses. The wax is dressed in a bedazzled black lace two-piece set with a white jacket, covered with feathers and draped over her shoulders and wearing glittery, platform pumps.
JUST LIKE THE SERIES, BEYONCE REALLY DID MEET SELENA AT A MALL – (05/07/2021)
A scene in the new series about the life of Selena shows a young, starstruck, Beyoncé meeting super star, Selena at a mall. According to Beyonce, it actually happened.
They met briefly and she said hello to Selena but kept moving. She commented on the influence that Selena had on her and said: “I think listening to her album, even though I didn’t know exactly what she was singing, it helped me in the studio with my pronunciation… I think she is a legend and I admire her. And she was so talented.”
Selena: The Series is available on Netflix and is in its second season.
JESSE WILLIAMS TO EXIT GREY’S ANATOMY: Jesse Williams is set to exit Grey’s Anatomy after 12 seasons. The actor, who first appeared as Dr. Jackson Avery in season six will appear in his final episode, titled “Tradition,” on May 20th. He said in a statement obtained by People, “I will forever be grateful for the boundless opportunities provided me by Shonda (Rhimes), the network, studio, fellow cast mates, our incredible crew, Krista (Vernoff), Ellen (Pompeo) and Debbie (Allen).”
THE WEEKND HINTS AT NEW MUSIC – (05/07/2021)
Even though it’s been less than a year since he released After Hours, The Weeknd has already started teasing about his next project. In comparing the two, he told Variety, “If the last record is the afterhours of the night, then the dawn is coming.”
Fans will recall that while promoting the current album, he has been wearing a bloody bandage over his nose, a signature red suit, and oversized glasses, with fake, face-altering, plastic surgery.
His next big appearance is set for May 11. He’ll perform remotely on the Brit Awards.
ELLEN EXPLAINS WHY SHE’S LIVING AT COURTNEY COX’S HOUSE – (05/07/2021)
Ellen DeGeneres is living at Courtney Cox’s house, but not for the reason that fans think.
The talk show host said on Thursday’s (May 6th) episode of Ellen that she’s staying with the Friends alum because she recently sold her Beverly Hills home and not because she is having marital troubles with wife, Portia de Rossi.
Cox appeared on the show to discuss the living situation. She said that she hasn’t been in the house in a year so she had the place cleaned and had an assistant move all her things aside so that DeGeneres could have room to make herself at home.
The Scream star joked, “And all of the sudden it was like, ‘Wait a minute. Ellen’s toothbrush is on my side!’ I had her open the drawer and I was like, ‘Well, where’s my makeup? So essentially you’re a terrible roommate. You took over my side and your side.”
DeGeneres claims it wasn’t her fault, saying, “That was Portia who took over your side. I only have one side. She happened to be there one night.”
KIM KARDASHIAN DENIES BUYING ANCIENT ROMAN ARTIFACT – (05/07/2021)
Kim Kardashian denies buying an ancient Roman artifact that the U.S. government is attempting to return to Italy.
According to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ, a statue dating back to first or second century Rome was shipped to the U.S. in 2016. The paperwork listed “Kim Kardashian dba Noel Roberts Trust” as the importer of the artwork.
A representative for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star denies she made the deal and sources tell the outlet that he purchase was made by her estranged husband Kanye West as a part of a larger shipment of artwork.
The federal government is working to retrieve the piece because Italian officials determined the statue is a cultural treasure that was essentially looted from an archaeological site.
