TAYLOR SWIFT SAYS THERE ARE ‘POLITICAL UNDERTONES’ IN NEW MUSIC – (05/28/2019)
Taylor Swift is giving more insight on her upcoming album, seventh album.
During a recent interview with Elle, the 29-year-old revealed that there will be some “political undertones” in her new music.
“I definitely think there are political undertones in the new music I made,” Taylor said. “I’m not planning to stop encouraging young people to vote and to try to get them to talk about what’s going on in our country. I think that’s one of the most important things I could do.”
Over the years, Taylor has kept her political opinions to herself, but back in November 2018, she broke her silence on her beliefs to support the Democratic candidates in Tennessee while encouraging her fans to register to vote in their local elections.
Meanwhile, Taylor has dropped a huge hint about the title of her new album. While speaking with The Independent, Taylor shared that the title is something you see “once and you hear it twice.” The word “Lover” is the big sign in the music video of “ME!” at the 1:55 mark – and she and Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie (who is also featured on the track) sing “lover” twice in the song’s lyrics. With this in mind, many fans have been able to draw conclusions that Swift’s album title may be “Lover.”

ARIANA GRANDE REACTS TO MADAME TUSSAUDS WAX FIGURE AMID CRITICISM – (05/28/2019)
When Madame Tussauds London unveiled their latest wax figure of Ariana Grande, fans sounded off on social media – and not in a positive way.
Turns out, Ari is not such a fan either. In an Instagram post shared by Pop Crave News, which featured a photo of the replica, Grande simply wrote in the comments section: “I just wanna talk.”
Back in April, Madame Tussauds London had asked fans to vote on which “Ari-inspired style” they wanted for the wax figure, requesting they choose between “Classic Ari,” “Sassy Ari” and “Princess Ari.” In a tweet, the museum confirmed fans had chosen “Classic Ari.”
“Now we have her style nailed, you can see @ArianaGrande at Madame Tussauds London for 5 weeks from Friday,” the unveiling tweet said.
However, fans weren’t thrilled with the figure, with one person saying: “This looks… nothing like her.”
“Nothing against the work, but … that’s really bad …” another person wrote.
“This is NOT ARI,” one fan added. “What did y’all do to her face ???”
Another person said: “The longer I look,, the more confused I get.”
Ariana is currently on her Sweetener World Tour, and will be stopping at the Amalie Arena tonight in Tampa, Florida.

POST MALONE DEFENDS LIL NAS X FROM UPSET COUNTRY FANS – (05/28/2019)
STATIONS: Please note the following story contains language that could be considered offensive to your audience.
Post Malone is defending rapper Lil Nas X from online hate from country music fans.
Lil Nas X has faced a lot of backlash from the country music community about his No. 1 song “Old Town Road” which was initially removed from the country charts for “not being country enough.”
Now he’s facing even more backlash after his campaign with Wrangler was announced. Some country fans claim Lil Nas X is “appropriating” their culture and that he shouldn’t be the spokesperson of the brand saying that he isn’t even a country artist. Some even threatened to boycott the brand. However, Post Malone says they all need to just chill out.
In an interview with TMZ, Posty discussed what’s going on with Lil Nas X.
“I think people should be able to f*cking make whatever the hell they want to,” he said. “I feel like even now in modern country there’s a lot of 808s and sh*t anyways. … All the country artists now are rapping too. I don’t necessarily see the difference.”
Post also spoke on the recent backlash over Lil Nas X’s deal with jeans line Wrangler. “It’s just pants,” Post said. “I don’t understand it. Music’s just f*cking music and if you wear Wranglers, who gives a sh*t.”
