SELENA GOMEZ PLAYS ‘HOT ONES’ WITH JIMMY FALLON ON ‘TONIGHT SHOW’ – (06/12/2019)
Selena Gomez appeared on Tuesday night’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about her new movie and partake in some extremely spicy hot wings during a special Hot Ones crossover.
During “Hot Ones,” each star had to eat four wings that increased in spiciness. Selena held her cool through the first two wings – but she was crying from the heat of the wings and could barely answer the random questions being asked by Hot Ones host Sean Evans.
By the last wing – Selena and Jimmy both were gulping milk and water and she was saying, “I hate it!” and asking, “Why do you do this to people?”
Later, during her interview segment – Selena admitted she had tossed her cookies after the “Hot Ones” bit was over. It seems Jimmy walked into her dressing room and asked if she was ok. She wasn’t… she turned around and still had a string of “full salvia” coming out of her mouth and down her chin – much to Jimmy’s delight.
Selena also told Fallon that she is “done” with her new album – it just needs a few tweaks. According to Gomez, one of the things that made it hard to finish the album were all of the “huge” moments in her private life:
[“I’m actually done … I have to do a few finishing things with it but I’m just relieved; it took me four years now to even fill out at a good place with this album and it’s just because I had such huge moments that happened in my life personally that how was I going to capture that and how is that going to actually feel good about what I was saying so I just kept going and I’m relieved.”]
She also described the vibe of the new album:
[“I think there’s always going to be a sense of strong pop in my in my music but I definitely explored more with electric guitar, a lot of more so soulful tracks underneath things, acoustic guitar. It all kind of hits different places that I feel like is my lane for music it’s just live in that world.”]
Selena also discussed her new movie, The Dead Don’t Die, which opens in theaters Friday – as well as her co-star, Bill Murray, who she calls “great.”
Speaking of Murray, it seems that after filming the new zombie-horror movie Selena and the actor formed an unlikely bond. Murray tells People that his preconceived notions about the star disappeared once he got to know her.
“I learned that I like her,” he says. “I learned that whatever preconception I had about someone that had 55 million, billion followers of something – maybe, I probably thought she was different than she turned out to be.”
He liked her so much, in fact, that he would’ve loved to introduce her to his mother. “If my mother were alive I’d bring her home to her,” he says, joking, “‘Mother. I want you to meet Selena.’”

KATY PERRY & TAYLOR SWIFT DECLARE ‘PEACE AT LAST’ WITH CRYPTIC COOKIE POST – (06/12/2019)
Katy Perry has revealed that she received a delicious gift from her former enemy Taylor Swift.
Last year, Katy sent Taylor an olive branch as she opened a concert tour in an effort to end a long-simmering feud. On Tuesday, Perry took to Instagram to share a photo with fans that featured a plate of chocolate chip cookies that Taylor baked for her. The plate was decorated with red frosting that spelled out “Peace at last,” and it was accompanied by peace signs decked in rainbow sprinkles. “Feels good,” Perry captioned the post.
Perry then directly reached out to her fellow music superstar, “feels good 🧡 @taylorswift,” which elicited a 13-heart acceptance from Swift, for whom 13 is a lucky number.
Swift’s sweet present comes after fans spotted her inclusion of Perry’s new single, “Never Really Over,” on her Apple Music playlist in May.
Fans had long wondered about the feud between the performers, with speculation rising after Swift told Rolling Stone that “Bad Blood,” a single on her 2015 album “1989,” was about another female artist, assumed to be Perry.
Overjoyed fans celebrated the ongoing reconciliation as they gleefully speculated about the possibility of a collaboration between the two music superstars.
Neither the Instagram post nor the accompanying tweet mention the possibility of a collaboration, but Perry also dropped another cryptic Instagram post and tweet shortly before the Swift outreach that might cause fans to ask even more questions about future music plans. It shows the back of a postcard with the typed title of her latest single “I Guess It’s Never Really Over” and a scribbled “Check Back Soon #NeverReallyOver.”
So, what could this mean? The most common theory is that “Peace at Last” might be a collaboration between the two stars that is coming out soon.
Taylor and Katy are both getting ready to release new albums after they dropped their new singles “ME!” and “Never Really Over,” respectively, in the last few weeks.

DUA LIPA SLAMS HATERS WHO CLAIM SHE PHOTOSHOPPED HER LIPS IN BABY PHOTOS – (06/12/2019)
Dua Lipa is firing back at internet trolls accusing her of using Photoshop to enhance a sweet baby pic she recently shared on social media.
Last month, the 23-year-old singer took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of herself as a toddler. Some of her 30 million followers, however, focused on her younger self’s full, pouty lips, with some even accusing her of Photoshopping her lips to make them appear larger.
Dua took to Instagram on Tuesday to slam the rumors. “to the people saying i photoshop my baby pictures to make my lips look bigger are mad madddd!” she wrote. “can’t believe i have to defend myself. you guys are on crack.” She strengthened her point by uploading a series of more baby photos and in each of them, she’s rocking her characteristic full lips.
One Instagram user wrote, “So we can’t even trust people’s baby pics now,” while another slammed the, commenting, “Some bad photoshop too lol your kid lips aren’t as big as your adult lips no matter the plumpness.”
In April, Lipa revealed the valuable advice a fellow pop star gave her about Internet hate. “When I met Katy Perry, she was like, ‘I hope you don’t search your name,’” the London native said in the cover story for ELLE’s May issue. “She was like, ‘That’s what I did at the beginning of my career, and I’d get upset about every tabloid that said something about me.’ She said, ‘Do not have notifications on. Do not read that sh*t, because it will stop you from doing what you love.’”

BRITNEY SPEARS’ DAD FILES FOR CONSERVATORSHIP FOR SINGER IN LOUISIANA – (06/12/2019)
Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, wants a judge to grant him legal guardianship of his famous daughter in yet another state.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Jamie, 66, recently filed for conservatorship of the 37-year-old pop star in her home state of Louisiana. He also mentioned that he plans to register in Hawaii and Florida, where Britney frequently vacations. He has had conservatorship, which allows him to make decisions about her financial and personal affairs, in California since 2008.
In May, Britney made a rare joint appearance with Jamie and mom, Lynn Spears, at a Los Angeles Superior Court to discuss her case. At that hearing, a judge ordered Britney to undergo an expert evaluation to determine the status of her mental health and competence.
Britney’s mental health came to the forefront when she checked herself into a mental health facility on April 3rd amid reports she struggled with her father’s colon condition. She checked out of the treatment center on April 25th.
She recently vacationed with boyfriend, Sam Asghari, in Miami, where she slammed paparazzi for allegedly editing her photos to make her appear heavier. The singer has also shared with fans that she’s been attending therapy.
Now, Britney is showing off a new haircut. She posted a video showing off her new hairstyle for her fans on her Instagram on Tuesday.
“I just got my haircut and new highlights. A girl with new hair. What am I gonna do?” she said in the video, which she captioned: “Maybe I should go shopping 🛍 🤫🤔😜”
