NICK JONAS JOINS ‘THE VOICE’ AS A COACH FOR 2020: Nick Jonas has signed on to become a coach on The Voice for Spring 2020. Jonas is set to discuss the news on Ellen today (October 8th) while promoting the Jonas Brothers’ platinum album and current single “Only Human.” He said in a statement, “I’m so excited to be a part of The Voice family. It’s such an awesome group of individuals, and I can’t wait to help these artists really build and hone in to find their unique voices.”
HAILEY BALDWIN APOLOGIZES FOR TAYLOR SWIFT REENACTMENT VIDEO – (10/08/2019)
Justin Bieber‘s wife Hailey Baldwin has apologized for doing a video reeanactment of Taylor Swift post-surgery banana freakout. Jimmy Fallon aired the original video of the singer going off about not picking out the banana she wanted following her LASIK eye surgery. Then the Biebers put their own spin on the clip on an IG Live story. In the story, Beiber can be seen in the kitchen playfull calling out, “it’s not the banana that I wanted.”
Baldwin laughed and responded, “That was so funny.” Then Bieber added, “It’s not the right banana — it has no head!”
After being criticized by one of Taylor’s fans, Baldwin responded, saying, “I never knew I could make somebody so upset. Truly I’m so sorry you’re THIS upset?! Lord have mercy I hope I’m never this upset about someone I don’t know!!”
She continued, “Listen. I think it’s awesome how passionate you are and how hard you ride for someone you’re a fan of, it’s beautiful how dedicated you are. If there’s something I did to personally hurt you or offend you I’m sorry, it’s not my intention to upset you by any means but being angry at someone you don’t know does nothing for you.”
She added, “I know cause I been there.. all it’s gonna do is make you miserable. Don’t let ME of all people get you feeling that way. Trust me, I’m not worth the energy, nobody should be worth that energy.”
ALEX TREBEK SAYS HE MAY HAVE TO QUIT JEOPARDY!: Alex Trebek is working as host of Jeopardy! despite his cancer diagnosis, but he recently told CTV News that he will stay on the job “as long as my skills do not diminish.” And when the time comes, the 79-year-old says he’s ready: “I’m not afraid of dying. I’ve lived a good life, a full life, and I’m nearing the end of that life … if it happens, why should I be afraid of that?”
JENNIFER LOPEZ SUED FOR POSTING PAPARAZZI PIC OF HERSELF & A-ROD – (10/08/2019)
Jennifer Lopez is being sued for copyright infringement by photo agency Splash News over a picture she posted of herself and fiance Alex Rodgriguez on Instagram. According to The Blast and E! News, court docs say that Splash News and Picture Agency are suing the actress and singer for $150,000 and they have claimed that they are the owners and the exclusive copyright holders of the photo she shared in an Instagram Story two years back.

The docs say that “Specifically, Lopez or someone acting on her behalf copied the Photograph and distributed it on Instagram, via the @jlo account, on a story posted November 7, 2017.”
The photo agency continued, “This is an action for copyright infringement brought by plaintiff, the holder of the copyright to the photograph described below, against defendant for use of plaintiff’s photograph without authorization or permission.”
The photo agency claimed in the docs that Lopez had been notified of her infringment in a letter to her representative date December 12, 2017.
In addition to the $150,000, Splash News and Picture Agency are seeking an injunction against Lopez and her team to stop them from posting the photo in the future.
