DRAKE CELEBRATES HIS BIRTHDAY WITH 2000s-THEMED PARTY – (10/25/2018)
Drake celebrated his birthday on Tuesday night (October 23rd) with a 2000s-themed birthday party. According to Rap-Up, the party contained a Blockbuster video wall, mini 7-Eleven with Slurpee machines and lottery tickets, a Rap City booth and a recreation of the 106 & Park set. There was also a JayDees Connection story, which was stocked with airbrushed tees featuring a mug of Degrassi-era Drake and Dennis Graham durags, while the “Sandra’s Rose” room featured roses, candles, and photos of Drake with his mother, Sandy Graham.
Drake’s cake was shaped like a Motorola Timeport two-way pager. He also raffled Chanel bags, “courtesy of the company.”
According to The Blast, Chris Brown, Diddy, French Montana, Ty Dolla $ign, Swizz Beatz, Trey Songz, G-Eazy, Swae Lee and Kendall Jenner were all in attendance.
In other news, Drake’s “Kiki” has reportedly been found. During a recent radio interview, Oakland rapper, K’yanna Barber, spoke on the inspiration behind the record, “In My Feelings,” and said, “I was kind of surprised by it myself when I heard it. I was sitting in the living room with my son, my brother, my mom. We was just listening to the album like everybody else. You know, it’s Drake. He dropped new music. You listen to it.” She then said, “When we heard KB that’s when my mom started going crazy because that’s my actual initials.” When asked if Drake got his answer to whether or not “Kiki” loves him, she replied, “I feel like he knows the answer.”
‘BIG BANG THEORY’ STARS TOP FORBES’ HIGHEST-PAID TV ACTORS LIST – (10/25/2018)
The Big Bang Theory may be ending soon, but it’s going out making some serious noise.
On Wednesday, Forbes released its highest-paid TV actors list and four of the top five slots belonged to the show’s stars. Jim Parsons earned the top spot, raking in $26.5 million from June 1, 2017 to June 1, 2018, while Johnny Galecki nabbed $25 million, Kunal Nayyer snagged $23.5 million, Simon Helberg earned $23.5 million and NCIS’s Mark Harmon rounded out the top five with $19 million.
If the list had included women, The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco would have cracked the top 5 herself with her $26 million payday. TBD when Forbes will release the female list.
FAST FACTS:
- CBS’ The Big Bang Theory is currently airing its 12th and final season. The show’s exec producer Steve Holland told Entertainment Tonight of the final episodes: “This isn’t spoiling anything — because we haven’t written the episode and there’s nothing to give away yet — but one of the things I love about this show is that it’s a happy and positive show about people who love each other. I don’t think it would feel right to have a bummer ending to the show, it just wouldn’t feel in tone.”
- Other notables on the Forbes list: Modern Family stars Ed O’Neill ($14 million), Eric Stonestreet ($13.5 million), Jesse Tyler Ferguson ($13 million) and Ty Burrell ($12 million) as well as Andrew Lincoln ($11 million) from The Walking Dead.
