CARDI B WAS OFFERED SEVEN-FIGURES FOR A PHOTO OF HER DAUGHTER – (10/26/2018)
Please note the following story contains language that could be considered offensive.
Cardi B has revealed that she was offered seven figures for a photo of her daughter, Kulture. During a recent interview on Beats 1 Radio, Cardi said that she even hired a private investigator to get to the bottom of who was sending her threatening texts about her child. She explained, “I can show you screenshots of comments. Who are these people threatening my child? It’s just really disgusting, disturbing things. We just don’t want to show our baby right now. I got offered seven figures [to show Kulture], but I’m just not ready yet. I get so many disgusting text messages, I had to hire a private investigator to figure out who sends me this sh*t.”
She added, “I’m not even ready yet to have a d*mn babysitter.”
The Bronx rapper also spoke on her single, “Money,” leaking. She said, “This happens all the time, you know? When you give it to streaming services, it might go to a freakin’ different country […] and somebody from there leaked it. And, you know, people don’t like you, so they’re gonna keep spreading it […] It was literally the people who hate me who posted it. My fans were like, ‘Please, don’t post it.’ Everything that I do, they be on it before my fans . . . Seems like you love me, so it’s like, f**k it. I can’t retract it; I might as well put it out.”
MEGHAN MARKLE MAKES RELATABLE FASHION MISSTEP – (10/26/2018)
Meghan Markle is celebrate everywhere, from the aisles of Wal-Mart to the pages of Vogue for her always chic, often aspiration-friendly fashion choices. In a rare forehead-slapper, the royal suffered an epic (but totally relatable) fashion faux pas in Tonga.
She and Prince Harry were welcomed at Fua’amotu Airport on Thursday by by Princess Angelika Latufuipeka. Meghan was wearing a ravishing red dress in the same hue as the Tongan flag, designed by Self-Portrait, but (scandal!) there was a visible tag attached.
Also of note: it seems that Meghan’s bridal-inspired custom Theia evening dress worn on the tour needed an adjustment to make room for her pregnant belly. Which means, Theia designer Don O’Neill knew about her pregnancy before the rest of the world. Said O’Neill: “We needed to remake it with extra seam allowance. We knew immediately why this extra allowance was required, but mum’s the word, and with less than one week to my bridal show, all hands were on deck once more. We re-made the gown, and I literally had to run down Broadway that Friday night to catch the UPS truck, making it with just two minutes to spare!”

FANS REACT TO CAST MEMBER’S DEATH ON ‘MODERN FAMILY’ – (10/26/2018)
On Wednesday, a character on Modern Family died. The ABC show has been relentlessly teasing the death throughout its 10th season, and fans seem decidedly underwhelmed.
The show, about a blended family in L.A., could have knocked off a major character, with many speculating that it would be Sofia Vergara, or Stella the French bulldog. Still others mentioned Ariel Winter, Sarah Hyland or Ty Burrell as possibilites (but, aside from Stella, as the arguably the biggest fan draws, they were never really considered serious contenders).
Instead, social media observers gripe, they decided to kill of DeDe (Shelley Long), the ex-wife of Jay (Ed O’Neill), and the mother of Dunphy adults.
She died offscreen, “peacefully in her sleep while on a trip with her women’s group.”
Co-creator Steve Levitan said of the choice: “She’s directly involved with three of our characters and she touched everybody’s life in some interesting way. It seemed like the right character to put everybody through something. She seemed like right character because she so directly affects so many of our characters.”
But fans weren’t here for it. One wrote that the show “trolled” fans with the constant death hype, while others just kept noting that they don’t define a “major” character as someone who’s “been on 7 episodes of a 10-season show.”
FAST FACTS:
