TAYLOR SWIFT, BILLIE EILISH AND HALSEY WIN BIG AT THE MTV EMAS – (11/04/2019)
Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and Halsey each picked up multiple prizes at the MTV Europe Music Awards show Sunday in Seville, Spain.
Swift won for Best U.S. Act and Best Video for “Me!” while Eilish scored the honors for Best Song for “bad guy” and Best New Artist. Halsey took home the statuettes for Best Pop and Best Look, and BTS won for Best Live Act and Biggest Fans.
Johnny Orlando was named Best Canadian Act, Shawn Mendes was chosen as Best Artist and Nicki Minaj earned the accolade for Best Hip Hop.
Green Day won for Best Rock, Martin Garrix for Best Electronic and FKA twigs Best Alternative. The Best Collaboration title went to Rosalia and J Balvin for “Con Altura.” Singer, songwriter and YouTube star Becky G hosted the fan-voted prize presentation.
Dua Lipa opened up the awards show at the FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre. Dua performed her new song “Don’t Start Now” for the opening, making it the first time she’s performed the new song live since she released it last week.

KELLY CLARKSON ANNOUNCES 2020 LAS VEGAS RESIDENCY – (11/04/2019)
Kelly Clarkson announced on her daytime talk show Friday that she will be headlining a Las Vegas residency starting in 2020.
The singer will start her Invincible concert run on April 1st at the Zappos Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Clarkson made the announcement while surrounded by a group of colorful showgirls. Invincible will be her first Las Vegas residency.
“I have a major announcement to make today,” said the 37-year-old. “I’ve scored my very own residency in Las Vegas. ‘Kelly Clarkson: Invincible’ debuts April 1st – it’s not an April Fools joke, but it does debut April 1st at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.”
“When I launched this show I heard from fans everywhere who were worried I’d stop putting out new music and touring. Well, don’t worry. I got you,” she said.
Kelly follows in the footsteps of Shania Twain, Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera, all of whom have stage residencies on the Zappos stage.
The residency will run from April to September with concerts also taking place in July and August. Tickets go on sale on November 8th.

LADY GAGA TO STAR IN GUCCI MURDER MOVIE: Lady Gaga has landed the lead role in producer Ridley Scott’s film about the murder of Maurizio Gucci, the grandson of fashion designer Guccio Gucci. Lady Gaga will play Patrizia Reggiani, who was convicted of hiring a hit man to kill her businessman ex-husband in 1995 after he left her for a younger woman. She was released in 2016 after 18 years in prison. The film will be an adaptation of Sara Gay Forden’s true-crime book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed. Roberto Bentivegna wrote the screenplay.
BLACK EYED PEAS, NCT 127, CIARA, MORE TO PERFORM AT MACY’S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE: NCT 127, Lea Michele, Tenille Townes, Billy Porter, TLC, Idina Menzel, Chris Young and the Black Eyed Peas are set to perform at the 93rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Also confirmed to participate are Chicago, Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Debbie Gibson, Natasha Bedingfield and Josh Dela Cruz, Macy’s announced. The event will air live on NBC on November 28th.
