The 93rd Academy Awards ceremony may take place April 25th as reported, but it may be delayed. What’s likelier, per the insiders, is a hybrid in-person and virtual event a la the Emmy Awards.
TAYLOR SWIFT REVEALS RE-RECORDED VERSION OF ‘LOVE STORY’ IN AD – (12/03/2020)
Taylor Swift revealed a clip of her re-recorded version of “Love Story” in Ryan Reynolds’s new Match.com ad on Wednesday (December 2nd).
The clip shows Satan falling in love with a woman named 2020, but according to E! it also shows a subtle dig at Scooter Braun.
Eagle-eyed viewers will notice that in the background of the ad, a discarded scooter sits on the ground in front of a dumpster with the number six spray-painted on the wall behind it to symbolize the number of masters that the singer will re-record.
Braun took ownership of Swift’s catalog in June 2019 and sold them to Shamrock holdings in November 2020. On November 16th, Swift revealed she already started re-recording her music catalog, which includes the albums Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989 and Reputation.
MILEY CYRUS TELLS HOWARD STERN SHE HASN’T SLEPT WITH DUA LIPA….YET – (12/03/2020)

Miley Cyrus has never had sex with Dua Lipa – but that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t.
The singer told Howard Stern on Wednesday (December 2nd) that even though the video for their song “Prisoner” is pretty graphic, it’s “just the standard pop culture manipulation.” However, she said if Lipa was interested, she’d “take the bait”.
Later in the interview she added that it’s been a “really interesting and challenging” time to meet people because of the coronavirus and indicated that she’s been having “a lot of FaceTime sex”.
JENNIFER LOPEZ HAS NEVER HAD BOTOX – (12/03/2020)
Jennifer Lopez claims she’s never had Botox, even though an ex-boyfriend encouraged her to get injections.
J.Lo told Elle that when she was in her early twenties, a dermatologist encouraged her to get Botox and her then-boyfriend told her to give it a try.
Nearly three decades later she tells the website, “I just wonder what would’ve happened to me if I would’ve started Botox at 23, what I would look like right now. My face would be totally different today.
Rather than leaning on injectables and plastic surgery, Lopez swears that using sunscreen every day has allowed her to maintain her youthful appearance.
JOHN MULANEY INVESTIGATED: John Mulaney was investigated by the Secret Service after he hosted Saturday Night Live, he says on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The comedian dubbed the presidential election an “elderly man contest” and argued that no matter who ended up winning, “nothing much will change in the United States.” He got serious blowback, but the joke about Julius Caesar being a powerful maniac who deserved to be stabbed to death earned him an investigation by the Secret Service. “I guess they opened a file on me because of the joke, and I have to say: Am I stoked there’s a file open on me? Absolutely. Did I enjoy it in the moment? Not so much,” he told Kimmel. Mulaney has since been cleared by the Secret Service.
NIKE ANNOUNCES NEW SUB-LABEL WITH DRAKE – (12/03/2020)
Nike has announced a new sub-label with Drake entitled NOCTA — which is a nod to his “nocturnal creative process.” Drake said about the new label, “This moment is full circle for me. I mean, growing up Nike was everything. It felt like every shoe I wanted, every athlete I liked, everything I owned was Nike.”
He added, “It didn’t mean anything unless it had a Swoosh.”
The line will be released on December 18th.
