Taylor Swift debuted her new pink-dipped hair at the Time 100 gala where the pop star also performed and discussed her love of songwriting.
Swift arrived to the event on Tuesday in New York rocking a light pink and yellow gown with a matching, sparkling headband.

She gave a speech in the middle of her performance, stating that she believes she was selected for the Time 100 list due to her songwriting:
[I use [writing] as a way to justify things that happen to me. Whether they’re good or bad, I like to honor the good times and really process the bad times.”]
Swift’s Time 100 gala appearance comes as she prepares to release new music on Friday. The singer released a countdown clock recently on her website and has teased fans on Instagram about what is coming by posting images of pastel items such as purses and jewelry.

PANIC! AT THE DISCO HITS TWO MORE MILESTONES WITH ‘HIGH HOPES’ – (04/25/2019)
Panic! At The Disco has reached two more milestones with its massive hit single “High Hopes.” The song, which was released less than a year ago in May 2018, has now been streamed over half a billion times on Spotify, leaving the band’s previous top streamer, “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” and its 286 million views far in the dust.
In addition, the “High Hopes” music video, issued last August, has racked up 268 million views in just seven months and is now the band’s most-watched clip on YouTube. Once again it eclipsed “I Write Sins,” the video for which amassed over 266 million views — but over the course of 12 years.
“High Hopes” has been widely successful on the airplay charts as well, hitting Number One on the Alternative survey and becoming the longest-lasting chart-topper on Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs chart in more than 10 years. It also hit Number Four on Billboard‘s mainstream Hot 100 chart, a new peak for the group.
Panic! At The Disco will next perform at the Billboard Music Awards for the first time ever. The band is up for four awards, including Best Rock Song with “High Hopes.” The show will be held at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 1st, airing live at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
JUSTIN BIEBER HITS BACK AT COACHELLA CRITICISM AND ARIANA BACKS HIM UP – (04/25/2019)
When Justin Bieber hit back at a reporter for criticizing his Coachella performance, Ariana Grande backed him up.
Earlier this week, E!’s Nightly Pop host Morgan Stewart slammed Bieber for his Coachella performance on Sunday, in which he joined Ariana on stage and was caught lip-syncing to his hit song “Sorry.”
“I did not realize it was going to be that bad,” Stewart said on the show before ripping into Bieber’s facial appearance. “He definitely looks like he put an Oxy pad on that forehead, but I don’t care. That is f*cked up!”
In response, Justin tweeted, “Imagine if you spent even half the time you spend laughing at other people’s expense actually building people up and encouraging people, how much positivity you could bring.”
Justin encouraged Stewart to use her platform for good, continuing, “And rather than being positive you belittle people. Think about how awesome it felt for me to be on that stage after being away for so long the excitement and joy it gave me doing the thing i love the most, i sang to [a] backtrack like most cameos do this is a normal thing.”
Ariana quickly came to his defense, tweeting, “We also decided to do this ten minutes before my set started. we had 0 soundcheck, 0 rehearsal. u were singing with the back tracking like most cameos do.”
She added, “people are bored. people don’t know how it feels to be under such scrutiny. the world was happy to have u on stage again.”
After tweeting some more words of encouragement to Justin, she concluded, “i don’t like when people try to ruin beautiful moments for my friends that’s all. have a good day.” Her tweets have since been deleted.

IS *NSYNC PLOTTING A RETURN WITHOUT JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE? – (04/24/2019)
Following the surprise appearance of *NSYNC members Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick with Ariana Grande at the Coachella music festival on April 15th, could the group stage a comeback play without Justin Timberlake?
The foursome took to the stage deep into Grande’s song “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” and followed with a joint version of the boy band’s “Tearin’ Up My Heart,” complete with vintage choreography recreated and Grande herself stepping in to replace Timberlake. The response was massive, though viewers were split over whether it’s really ‘N Sync if Timberlake isn’t there.
Now, with a “test run” under their belts, could *NSYNC go out on the road as a quartet? Some people who work in the music industry think so.
“There’s such a hunger now for great pop, for nostalgia,” one industry source told Billboard. “It’s almost like a warm, comfortable blanket, especially for the generation that grew up with them, who are now moms and dads. The timing is right.”
“The four of them would be great,” added Brad Wavra, senior vp touring at Live Nation and *NSYNC’s original promoter. “There’s no denying the talent that Justin has, but the four of them together proved it [at Coachella]: the music sounded great, they looked great, the fan response was awesome and I think that that would be the same all across America.”
Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter is all for an *NSYNC comeback. Over the weekend, he tweeted his support of a reunion, and went so far as to suggest the once competing boy bands collaborate sometime.
Though the band didn’t respond, Fatone did on his personal account, seemingly calling out BSB on unfinished projects. “Hey we still have other Colabs [sic] we have not finished yet before u can think of other things lol” he wrote.
HALSEY REVEALS BRUTAL INJURY AFTER NUDE ROCK CLIMBING ACCIDENT – (04/24/2019)
Halsey’s naked rock climbing trip did not go as planned.
The singer took to Instagram Monday to show off her injured back, showing off her torso covered in red scrapes in cuts. Halsey also had her middle finger wrapped in a bandage.
“Don’t go rock climbing naked. Or do. Do you,” she captioned the photo.
Many of the singers’ famous friends and fans took to the comments section to sympathize with her pain.
“Nightmare,” her collaborates and friend Benny Blanco wrote on the photo.
“Omg, please go to the doctor 🙁 be careful, take care of yourself,” one fan commented.
“I thought this was gonna be you saying you caught measles from an unvaccinated child,” another fan joked.
This is not the first time Halsey has taken to social media recently to show off an injury. The singer went on Instagram Saturday to share a pic of her bruised knees and captioned it, “aw sh*t here we go again,” leading some fans to wonder if she was rehearsing a new routine.
TAYLOR SWIFT SEEMINGLY TEASES NEW MUSIC MERCHANDISE: It looks Taylor Swift might be giving another clue at her upcoming new album. While arriving back at her apartment building on Monday, the 29-year-old entertainer sported a pink-floral print shirt that has “Taylor Swift” in white writing along the back of her right sleeve. While nothing else was spotted on the shirt, fans are hoping the shirt will be part of the merchandise Taylor releases along with new music. A few weeks ago, Taylor released a countdown on social media that she will be dropping something big on April 26th.
BTS MAKE BILLBOARD HISTORY: BTS made history once again by becoming the first K-pop act with two simultaneously-charting hits on the Billboard Hot 100 list. Just one day after the group’s album Map of the Soul: Persona earned No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, the website revealed BTS’ two songs “Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey) and “Make It Right” (feat. Ed Sheeran) are also on this week’s Hot 100 list at No. 8 and No. 95, respectively. This is the first time a K-pop act has ever done this. But that’s not all. Since “Boy With Luv” debuted at the No. 8 spot on this week’s chart, it also became the highest-charting song by a K-pop act in Billboard’s history, breaking a record previously held by BTS’ 2018 track “Fake Love,” which hit No. 10 last year.

JUSTIN BIEBER PERFORMS WITH ARIANA GRANDE AT COACHELLA – (04/23/2019)
Justin Bieber made a surprise appearance at Coachella, joining Ariana Grande onstage for her second performance at the event.
Grande, despite telling fans that she had no special guests planned for her second Coachella show on Sunday, introduced Bieber onstage to perform his song “Sorry.”
“This is my first time performing here in two years, and I had to get my groove back, my swag back, you know what I’m saying,” Bieber told the crowd before teasing that his next album is coming soon.
“Thank you @ArianaGrande. Thank you @coachella. That felt right. Love you,” Bieber said on Twitter Monday.
Grande also performed “God Is a Woman,” “Side to Side,” “Bang Bang,” “No Tears Left to Cry” and “Thank U, Next” among other songs. She previously shared the stage with ‘NSYNC – minus Justin Timberlake – Nicki Minaj, Diddy and Mase at her first Coachella concert last weekend.
However, there was one sour note Sunday night. Video has emerged of Ari being struck by a lemon during the “Right There”/”Break Your Heart Right Back” segment of her set. The fruit bounced harmlessly off her chest. Ari brushed the incident, sayin “That’s ’cause one of ya’ll threw a lemon at me, sh*it,” she told the audience.
Fans took their fury to Twitter and Billie Eilish’s brother and collaborator Finneas called out the culprit. “If you throw a lemon at Ariana Grande, you’re a piece of sh*t,” he tweeted.
Grande and Bieber recently appeared together in Lil Dicky’s new pro-environment single “Earth.” The track, which is helping to raise funds for Leonardo DiCaprio’s pro-environment foundation, also features Snoop Dogg, Adam Levine, Shawn Mendes, Sia, Miley Cyrus, Lil Jon, Kate Perry, Ed Sheeran and many others.
In February, Bieber revealed that he had taken a hiatus from his music career, not releasing a new album since 2015’s Purpose.
JIM CARREY RESPONDS TO ARIANA GRANDE AFTER SHE POSTS HIS QUOTE ABOUT DEPRESSION – (04/23/2019)
Jim Carrey took a moment to respond to Ariana Grande after she posted about him over the weekend.
It all started when Ariana posted a quote from Carrey on her Instagram Story that expresses his views on depression.
“Depression is your body saying, ‘I don’t want to be this character anymore. I don’t want to hold up this avatar that you’ve created in the world. It’s too much for me’,” the quote read.
“You should think of the word ‘depressed’ as ‘deep rest’,” it continues. “Your body needs to be depressed. It needs deep rest from the character that you’ve been trying to play.”
Ariana called Carrey, “The whole LOML [love of my life] forever,” and said her first AIM screenname in 4th grade was “jimcarreyfan42.”
In response to her posts, Carrey tweeted at Ariana Sunday: “I read your lovely mention of me and things I’ve said about depression. A brilliant teacher and friend, Jeff Foster was OG on the ‘Deep Rest’ concept.”
He added, “I admire your openness. I wish you freedom and peace. I feel blessed to have such a gifted admirer. Happy Easter!”
Ariana retweeted his message, and wrote, “i can’t process this or breathe hold on.”
“thank u so much for your kindness,” she continued, once she collected her thoughts. “i don’t think u understand how much i adore u or what u mean to me. thank u for taking the time to share this w me. you are such an inspiration.”
She added, “i can’t wait to tattoo this tweet to my forehead. sending you lots of love & all things happy…jimcarreyfan42 is a very grateful girl rn.”
