BEYONCE OPENS UP ABOUT DIFFICULT PREGNANCY IN ‘HOMECOMING’ DOCUMENTARY – (04/18/2019)
Beyoncé broke the net on Tuesday night (April 16th) and Wednesday (April 17th) with the release of her Netflix documentary, HOMECOMING: A film by Beyoncé. In the film, which gave fans an intimate look into Bey’s 2018 Coachella performance, she also shared her the struggles she faced while preparing for the show. Bey revealed, “My body went through more than I knew it could. I was 218 pounds the day I gave birth. I had an extremely difficult pregnancy. I had high blood pressure. I developed toxemia, preeclampsia, and in the womb, one of my babies’ heart beats paused a few times, so I needed to get an emergency C-section.”
Bey continued, “In order for me to meet my goals, I’m limiting myself to no bread, no carbs, no sugar, no dairy, no meat, no fish, no alcohol … I’m hungry. It’s not like before when I could rehearse 15 hours straight. I have children. I have a husband. I have to take care of my body.”
When speaking on performing after giving birth to twins, Bey also said, “There were days that I thought I’d never be the same… physically, and my strength and endurance would never be the same. I learned a valuable lesson: I will never, never push myself that far again. I feel like I’m a new woman in a new chapter of my life and I’m not even trying to be who I was.”
In other news, according to VIBE, the audio of Bey’s 2016 visual album, Lemonade, will be available to streaming platforms next week. Variety reports that the album will be available on Tuesday, April 23rd, which is the three-year anniversary of the film’s debut on HBO.

MASSIVE ‘AVENGERS: ENDGAME’ LEAKS REPORTEDLY HIT SOCIAL MEDIA – (04/17/2019)
Marvel fans should stay off social media if they don’t want to be assaulted by spoilers for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame. Although Disney and Marvel have gone to heroic lengths to prevent any Avengers-related spoilers, it seems that a serious chunk of legit footage leaked online before the film’s premiere.
In a bid to protect fans’ sanity and our own bodily health, we won’t describe what leaked, but according to reports, the footage comprised about five minutes worth of footage from throughout the film, and it appears to divulge several plot points.
Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26th so fans who don’t want to be surprised until then should avoid the gifs, short clips and detail-filled posts on social media.
While Disney has not yet commented, observers say that the person behind the leak must have had clearance to view the footage. Experts say the leak may only drum up interest in the film, instead of suppressing fan turnout.
“If anything this scandal is only serving to ratchet up the level of conversation related to the film and raising the awareness of it to even higher levels,” Paul Dergarabedian, senior analyst at Comscore, tells CNBC.
Endgame is the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is expected to resolve events in the Infinity War, in which half of the heroes were destroyed. It may also be the last film for multiple Marvel heroes.

THE SONG LUKE BRYAN AND LIONEL RICHIE WILL SING AT KATY PERRY’S WEDDING – (04/17/2019)
Katy Perry has been so busy with American Idol that she claims she hasn’t even started planning her wedding to fiancé Orlando Bloom.
But when the wedding does take place, fellow Idol judge Luke Bryan says he knows exactly which song he and fellow judge Lionel Richie should sing at the event.
Asked about wedding plans, Katy told the EXTRA, “Oh, my God. I’m not even in the mode. I’m just worried about my Top 10 right now.”
To which Lionel replied, “No matter what, I’m there.” Katy then joked that because Lionel had invited himself, he and Luke would “have to sing for free” at the reception.
Luke chimed in, “‘Endless Love!’ I’ll be Diana. Lionel’s Lionel. ‘Endless Love,’ baby.”
“Endless Love” was Lionel Richie’s 1981 No. 1 duet with Diana Ross. Recorded for the Brooke Shields movie of the same name, the duet spent nine weeks on top of the chart and earned Lionel an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song.
KATY PERRY SPILLS ON WHICH ‘AMERICAN IDOL’ CONTESTANT ORLANDO BLOOM WANTED HER TO SAVE – (04/17/2019)
Katy Perry sent Alyssa Raghu to the Top 10 on Monday night’s episode of American Idol, but it was another performer her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, wanted her to protect.
“He was texting me and telling me who to save!” Katy told ET after the show. “He was like, ‘You better save Dimitrius [Graham], and I was like, ‘Don’t worry! We got this one .’”
Fellow judge Luke Bryan used his save for Graham, while Lionel Richie went rogue, saving Uche before his cue.
Perry confirmed that neither she nor Luke had any idea what was going on when it happened. “We had no idea, first of all, because I asked the producers during commercial break,” she said. “I was like, ‘Was that scripted? Did you guys plan that?’ And they were like, ‘None of this is scripted,’ … Lionel Richie just took it!”
“Lionel Richie pulled a ‘I’m Lionel Richie,’“ Bryan laughed. “He hadn’t pulled that card yet! He said, ‘I’m Lionel Richie! I don’t care what nobody says!’“
Richie – who initially passed on Uche during auditions – was so impressed by the singer’s performance of “Diamonds” that he couldn’t wait to get him in the Top 10.
The Top 10 are headed to Disneyland next week, where Rebel Wilson is the guest mentor.
