BEYONCE AND JAY-Z ACCEPT BRIT AWARD WITH HELP FROM MEGHAN MARKLE – (02/21/2019)

Please note the following story contains language that could be considered offensive.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z accepted their BRIT Award for International Group in front of a portrait of Meghan Markle. According to Rap-Up, the couple was unable to attend the ceremony on Wednesday (February 20th) at London’s O2 Arena, so they opted to send a video instead. In the 30-second clip, a portrait of Markle can be seen before the video pans out to reveal The Carters standing alongside the royal artwork. The clip also featured the instrumental to Bey and JAY’s Everything Is Love record, “APESH*T.”

Bey said as she held the award, “Thank you so much to the BRIT Awards for this incredible honor. You guys have always been so supportive, Everything Is Love. Thank you.” JAY then jokingly said, “You’re welcome,” while Bey laughed.

HOW DID KHLOE FIND OUT ABOUT TRISTAN AND JORDYN? – (02/21/2019)

Khloe Kardashian has reportedly split with her boyfriend Tristan Thompson after he cheated on her with her sister Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods. E! and Us Weekly spoke to insiders to get the 411 on what went down, when. The pair have been dating on and off four more than two years; the last time they split up, it was because Tristan got caught cheating on her just days before she gave birth to their daughter True

“Khloe first started hearing things on Monday,” a source tells E! News. “She wasn’t sure if it was true and started to ask around. She knew it had happened for sure on Tuesday.”

“It” refers of course to reports that Tristan had cheated on her with Jordyn. When the news first broke Tuesday, Tristan tweeted-then-deleted, “FAKE NEWS.”

On Sunday night, Jordyn and Tristan reportedly hooked up after hanging together at a bar in Santa Monica. Khloe reportedly heard from a mutual pal about the hook up, and received multiple shocked texts from eyewitnesses.

It is still unclear when Khloe dumped Tristan, but he reportedly could care less.

“He doesn’t even think him hooking up with Jordyn is ‘bad’ because him and Khloe were broken up in his mind,” a source told Us Weekly. “He just truly doesn’t care.”

Khloe and Jordyn were tight too, which adds insult to injury, according to reports. But Kylie is truly devastated.

“Kylie is having a very difficult time,” a source says. “She is devastated and emotional. She doesn’t want to believe this could have happened.”

“She wanted to give Jordyn a chance to explain herself,” the source added. Meanwhile, “she’s shocked and confused.”

Still, despite all of the drama, Khloe kept it cool when she appeared in public Wednesday. She was snapped leaving her brother-in-law Kanye West’s office in Calabasas, California, grinning and looking gorgeous in all-white.

ARIANA GRANDE CELEBRATES HER BILLBOARD MILESTONE ON ‘LATE LATE SHOW’ – (02/21/2019)

Ariana Grande made a surprise visit to The Late Late Show with James Corden Tuesday night, much to the delight of some unsuspecting guests.

Ariana came out unannounced and sang with the TNT Boys, a young boy band trio from the Philippines who previously performed at James Corden’s other hosting gig, The World’s Best. The boys were so floored by the moment they could barely get through their rendition of “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from Dreamgirls as Ariana sang along.

The trio, made up of Keifer Sanchez, 15, Mackie Empuerto, 14, and Francis Concepcion, 13, were beside themselves. Ariana gently nudged the boys to complete the song between hugs, while also offering some vocal support throughout the soaring Broadway track.

“I’m obsessed with you guys, you’re so incredible,” Grande told the boys after they’d finished, which left them dumbfounded all over again.

“Is this a dream?” Concepcion asked while playfully slapping himself in the face.

Afterward, Ariana chatted with Corden about her history-making day, becoming the first artist to simultaneously hold the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 since The Beatles did it in 1964.

[“I think it’s so funny. I thought it was hilarious. When I woke up I thought it was like an edit, like that my fans made. I thought it was a joke! It’s really wild. My mom and I were driving around listening to The Beatles all day and I was like, ‘This is crazy…this is so weird!’”]

She jokingly added, “I’ll go away after this. I’ll take a break, I promise!” Asked what she planned to do to celebrate such a milestone achievement, Ariana confessed she doesn’t have much of a personal life these days. “Well, honestly, I was so excited you asked me to do this today cause I usually don’t have anything to do, other than just make songs and, like, rehearse and that’s it,” she declared, adding, “personal life still non-existent.”

Ariana of course ended her engagement to Pete Davidson late last year, and addressed him and other past loves in her current No. 3 hit – formerly No. 1 – “thank u, next.”

Ariana Grande made history by taking the top three spots on the new Billboard Hot 100 chart.

At first she thought the whole thing was a joke. “i laughed when i saw this bc i thought y’all edited it. thank u from the bottom of my heart. for so many reasons. first time since the beatles huh (and first time for a solo artist?). that’s wild. i thought this was a joke when i saw it i’m not kidding. i love u. so much. always have n will. thank u for everything. i cant believe this is real fr. thanks for making history w ya girl today. and for making me feel loved. bye crying,” she wrote on Instagram with a photograph of the official chart.”

LADY GAGA & CHRISTIAN CARINO SPLIT – (02/20/2019)

Lady Gaga and her fiancé Christian Carino have split. The singer and the CAA agent are no longer together, Gaga’s rep confirmed yesterday.

Rumors swirled that the two were no longer together when Gaga was pictured without her engagement ring at the Grammy Awards. Carino didn’t attend the ceremony with her, and she also failed to thank him when she won one of two trophies for “Shallow.” And on Valentine’s Day, instead of a couples photo, Gaga showed off her huge new back tattoo.

In the past, Carino had attended other events with Gaga, including the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Awards.  The two were confirmed to be a couple in February of 2017. In October of 2018, she referred to him publicly as her “fiancé” at an event in L.A.

Gaga had previously been engaged to Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney, while Carino had been linked to actress Lauren Cohan from The Walking Dead.

The 32-year-old singer, previously confessed that she has a hard time balancing success and romance.

“It’s a sad day when I’m doing the Super Bowl and I’m so excited to do it, but I can’t help but realize that when I sold 10 million records, I lost Matt [Williams]. I sold 30 million, I lose Luc [Carl]. I get the movie [A Star Is Born], I lose Taylor [Kinney],” Gaga disclosed in her 2017 Netflix documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two. “It’s like a turnover.”

MILEY CYRUS PARODIES SHAWN MENDES’ CALVIN KLEIN CAMPAIGN – (02/20/2019)

Miley Cyrus was one of the many celebs wowed by her friend Shawn Mendes’ ab-filled shirtless campaign for Calvin Klein.

But while some stars like Jennifer Lopez – and her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez – left thirsty comments on Mendes’s Instagram, Cyrus went a step further. She recreated Mendes’s campaign – and brought back a joke Lady Gaga made in 2013 about being a bad influence.

“Don’t leave your children with Miley,” she wrote over an Instagram Story of herself posing topless in Calvin Klein boxers alongside Mendes’s campaign shot, but to keep things PG, Cyrus covered both of their nipples with red hearts.

Gaga had that same caption when she shared a photo of herself with Cyrus. “DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN WITH LADY GAGA,” she tweeted in September 2013 with a photo of her and a Disney-era Cyrus.

Miley and Shawn took the stage together at the 2019 pre-Grammys MusiCares event honoring Dolly Parton, as well as during the actual award show. They even wore matching vests while rocking out to Mendes’ hit “In My Blood.”

JULIA MICHAELS COLLABORATING WITH JAMES BAY, SINGS ON ‘LATE LATE SHOW’ WITH NIALL HORAN – (02/20/2019)

James Bay announced he is teaming up with Julia Michaels on a brand-new track.

The singer announced the new on his Instagram page, along with a photo of himself and Julia. “This Friday! New song featuring my friend @juliamichaels,” he captioned it.

Julia posted the same pic to her Instagram page, writing, “Got to feature on this guy’s new song coming out soon 🙂 that’s pretty cool.”

Meanwhile, Julia performed her duet “What a Time” with Niall Horan on The Late Late Show with James Corden Monday night. The two had to complete an escape room before getting to take the stage. They cut it close, but they just made it. The full clip of them finding their way out the door through a series of clues has yet to be released. But ahead of the challenge Niall let everyone know “I need a wee” before going in.

The performance began with Julia sitting on a park bench surrounded by flowers. Niall appeared in the audience to kick off the second verse and made his way onto the stage, where they continued the emotional ballad together.

The track appears on Julia’s new Inner Monologue, Part 1 EP.

KATY PERRY & ORLANDO BLOOM ENGAGED – (02/18/2019)

Orlando Bloom popped the question to Katy Perry in a romantic Valentine’s Day proposal.

Katy’s mom Mary Hudson took to Facebook late Thursday night to share photos from the engagement party and of the engagement ring. “Look who got engaged on Valentines Day!!” she captioned some photos on her socials. The ring features diamonds surrounding a ruby center to form the shape of a flower. Andrew Brown, President, WP Diamonds told E! News that “Katy’s ring would retail in the range of $5 million.”

Katy then took to Instagram to share a photo of the ring. She captioned it, “full bloom.” Orlando posted the same photo and captioned it, “Lifetimes.”

Katy and Orlando started dating in 2016 and then broke up in March 2017. By the end of that year, they were back together.

OSCARS TO AIR ENTIRE SHOW AFTER BACKLASH – (02/18/2019)

The Academy has reversed a controversial decision to not air the winners of some categories live after a backlash from several bold-faced names, including Brad Pitt, Russell Crowe, George Clooney, Quentin Tarantino and Guillermo del Toro. ABC previously announced that Cinematography, Film Editing, Live Action Short and Makeup and Hairstyling would be axed from the live show, with awards getting handed out during commercial breaks.

A statement from the Academy‘s board of directors reads: “The Academy has heard the feedback from its membership regarding the Oscar presentation of four awards – Cinematography, Film Editing, Live Action Short, and Makeup and Hairstyling. All Academy Awards will be presented without edits, in our traditional format. We look forward to Oscar Sunday, February 24.”

Meanwhile, Bette Midler announced on Twitter that she will perform “The Place Where Lost Things Go” live on the February 24th broadcast.

On thing that’s still MIA: a host. Kevin Hart stepped down after homophobic tweets of his were resurfaced. Instead, stars like Brie Larson, Emilia Clarke and Gary Oldman will hand out awards.

MEGHAN TRAINOR RELEASES BEAR-Y CUTE ‘ALL THE WAYS’ VIDEO & A SPICY PRESS RELEASE – (02/18/2019)

After releasing four other music videos to accompany songs off her new EP The Love Train, Meghan Trainor released a fifth one Friday for the song “All the Ways.”

The latest video stars actress Bailee Madison as a young woman in love with a giant teddy bear. The clip starts with her texting with the bear and then meeting him for a date. They have a whirlwind romance around New York City, but then they get into a fight when she catches him eyeing another teddy bear through a store window. The bear later shows up at her apartment with flowers and they make up. The video ends with the two of them having fun at a party together.

On Valentine’s Day, Meghan released the video for her song “Marry Me,” featuring footage from her own December wedding to Daryl Sabara. She’s also released videos for the songs “Good Mornin’,” “Foolish” and “After You.”

While the songs and videos are cute – it is Epic Records’s press release for The Love Train EP that has tongues wagging.

Between describing the “hot newlywed sex” Trainor sings about one of her songs and including the phrase “smashing bae’s junk to smithereens,” people are shocked by the erotic email.

At one point, the release even says, “We know, it’s a little bit #Vomworthy, but also, am I chopping onions right now or are those tears rolling down my face? I’m not crying, you’re crying.”

There’s also an oddly specific reveal that Trainor wrote her song “Marry Me” exactly 30 days after meeting her future husband. It also declares that Trainor’s music gets Billboard “wet.”

Turns out, the author of the thirsty release is comedic writer, Caroline Goldfarb. She writes for The Late Late Show and is one of the funniest women on the internet, “Oh my god the experimental press release I ghostwrote for Meghan Trainor’s team legitimately went viral! I’m dead,” she tweeted.
