PETE DAVIDSON JOKES ABOUT BREAKUP WITH ARIANA GRANDE – (10/22/2018)

Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson joked about his recent breakup with singer Ariana Grande during a standup comedy routine in West Hollywood this weekend.
“As you could tell, I don’t want to be here,” Davidson told the crowd at Saturday’s Judd & Pete For America benefit, according to People. “There’s a lot going on,” he added. “Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?” Davidson and Grande got engaged in June after a few weeks of dating, but broke up last week. Davidson said on SNL three weeks ago that he had been living in Grande’s luxurious New York apartment where his only responsibility is stocking the fridge.
Pete also joked about the various tattoos he got in honor of Ariana. “Um, I’ve been covering a bunch of tattoos, that’s fun. I’m f**king 0 for 2 in the tattoo [department]. Yeah, I’m afraid to get my mom tattooed on me, that’s how bad it is,” he said, likely referencing the fact that before his relationship with Grande, he got ex-girlfriend Cazzie David’s face inked on his arm. That tattoo has since been covered.
“So, obviously you know I, we [Ariana and I] broke up or whatever but when me and her first got engaged we got tattoos. And it was like in a magazine like, ‘Was Pete Davidson stupid?’ And 93% of it said yes. So my boy, he was like, ‘Don’t listen to that sh*t man. They’re literally fu*king haters.’ And I’m like, yeah, f*ck that. I’m not stupid. And the other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, ‘Yo bro. Turns out you were stupid,’” he added. “I’m a good guy that just keeps getting kicked in the d*ck. You’re like, ‘Ah, that fu*king poor kid. Hope he doesn’t kill himself.’ That’s America.”
Even though they only dated for five months, the couple managed to get more than 10 tattoos collectively.

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson never took any formal steps toward an actual wedding, TMZ reports, questioning whether they ever truly intended to get married. The website notes that they never looked at dresses, venues or dates. How quickly would you tackle logistics after getting engaged?
‘HALLOWEEN’ MAKES FRANCHISE HISTORY WITH $78M BOW – (10/22/2018)
In three days of release, David Gordon Green’s Halloween has raked in $78 million, a record opening for a movie in the Halloween franchise. Rob Zombie’s Halloween remake nabbed $58 million in 2007, and Halloween: H20 snagged $55 million in 1998.
Worldwide, Halloween snagged about $92 million. It’s also the biggest opening for a slasher film adjusted for inflation. Scream 2’s $33 million opener in 1997 would be about $65 million today. Among R-rated horror films it lags only behind It, which managed $123 million.
Meanwhile, A Star Is Born held onto second place, and broke the $200 million mark worldwide. Damien Chazelle’s Neil Armstrong biopic First Man landed in fifth place in its second weekend out, nabbing just $8.6 million.
TAYLOR SWIFT’S TURNING HER INSTAGRAM STORY OVER TO FANS WHO VOTE – (10/22/2018)
Political Taylor Swift is back, and this time she’s taken to Instagram to double down on her ask that her fans vote in the midterm elections. If you do, you could be featured in her Instagram Story.
Taylor posted a photo of herself with an “I voted” sticker on her cheek, and captioned it, “If you just voted, take a pic and tag me with #justvoted. It may end up on my story.”
Her Instagram Story already shows many pictures of young men and women who’ve taken her up on her offer. Some are first-time voters, some are absentee-ballot voters, and some just captured the moment after they cast their ballots.
As previously reported, Taylor urged people to take advantage of early voting, writing, “It makes it so quick and easy to go and cast your vote before November 6.”
Taylor presumably had to vote early herself because she’s currently in Australia, performing on her Reputation tour. She’ll be there, as well as in New Zealand and Japan, through November 21st. That’s also the reason she couldn’t attend her bestie Karlie Kloss’ wedding.

KENDALL JENNER SLAMS ‘TMZ’ FOR SHARING HER PERSONAL INFORMATION – (10/19/2018)
Kendall Jenner is furious with TMZ, and she took to Twitter to vent her anger. TMZ published a story about her alleged stalker showing up at her pool (with details about the home’s location), and she tweeted: “and how do you guys think these terrifying people know where my house is? cuz you release not only photos but my location. it is so beyond unsafe. is this not our one ounce of privacy we can get???”
She continued in a second tweet: “i understand what i’ve signed up for but when you release the exact location to where i live THAT is when you’re putting my life in danger.”
“Your home is your safe haven, but for me, cuz of outlets like you, my home is anything BUT. you should be ashamed of yourself,” Jenner wrote.
This is not the first time Jenner has dealt with a stalker. In 2016, a man was followed her into her home, and she later received a permanent restraining order against him. The man who was busted stalking her this time also previously targeted her twice, TMZ reports.
“I literally once a week have a stalker, maybe more, twice a week,” Jenner said on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians last year. “Someone shows up at my house, every single day.”
Members of her family, including her sister Kim Kardashian, who was famously tied up, held at gun point and robbed of $10 million worth of jewels, have also been targeted in the past.
BRITNEY SPEARS SETS 2019 ‘DOMINATION’ RESIDENCY IN LAS VEGAS – (10/19/2018)
Britney Spears will kick off a new Las Vegas residency early next year. The singer, 36, announced yesterday that she’s heading back to Sin City for a new residency at the Park Theater at Park MGM, where Lady Gaga and Aerosmith are set to launch residencies of their own, joining the likes of Cher.
Spears let the cat out the bag in front of Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena during a “Spirit Day” parade for GLAAD. Her new residency poster was projected onto the side of the Park MGM, paired with some of her greatest hits, including “Toxic,” “…Baby One More Time,” “Slave 4 U” and “Circus.”
Last week, Brit was a special guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she hinted at a big announcement, which some fans had guessed meant a new album was on the way. It’s not, but another Vegas run is.
Ellen’s YouTube channel hosted the live stream of Britney’s announcement. Tickets for Domination go on sale next Friday, with the exclusive pre-sale opening today.
Spears’ new stint will come after her immensely successful Britney: Piece of Me Las Vegas residency, which ended December 2017. Her run earned $140 million after four years and 250 ticketed performances.
Last year, she commanded the highest ticket price of any Vegas production show – $855 for VIP treatment. It became one of the most successful Las Vegas residencies of all time.
‘AMERICAN IDOL’ WINNER MADDIE POPPE TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE – (10/19/2018)
Reigning American Idol champ Maddie Poppe is gearing up to release her first new music since her winning single, “Going Going Gone.”
The new song, “Keep on Movin’ On,” was written by songwriters who’ve penned material for Britney Spears, Elle King, Carrie Underwood and Weezer. It’ll be out October 26th, the same day she’ll perform it for the first time on Live with Kelly & Ryan.
Maddie spent the summer on the American Idol Live tour with her boyfriend, runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson, and the rest of the season’s top seven. She’s currently working on her debut album.
The singer from Iowa is nominated in the People’s Choice Award category of Competition Contestant of 2018; winners will be announced November 11th. She’ll also headline her first L.A. show November 13th at the legendary Hotel Café.

ARIANA GRANDE LEAVING SOCIAL MEDIA AFTER PETE DAVIDSON SPLIT: Ariana Grande has seemingly referenced her breakup with Pete Davidson in a now-deleted Instagram Story. “Ok today was v special and i’m so grateful i was able to be there,” the 25-year-old said in reference to Tuesday evening’s taping of NBC’s A Very Wicked Halloween, where she performed. The special will air later this month. Ariana continued, “Time to say bye bye again to the internet for just a lil bit. It’s hard not to bump news n stuff that I’m not trying to see rn. It’s very sad and we’re all tryin very hard to keep going. love u. and thank u for bein here always.” Neither Ariana nor Pete has made an official statement about the split so far. Ariana did speak out about her anxiety this week.
LUIS FONSI SETS SEVEN GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS, THANKS TO ‘DESPACITO’ – (10/18/2018)
It’s been a year since “Despacito” was the biggest song in the world, but it’s still breaking records. Luis Fonsi has received seven Guinness World Record titles thanks to “Despacito,” which was No. 1 for 16 weeks last year. According to the Guinness World Record website, the song, which was first released on January 13, 2017, has broken the following records:
Fonsi posted a photo on Instagram of himself posing with his honors, and wrote, “Yesterday, Guinness World Records surprised me with these seven awards. I am very honored to be part of the Guinness World Records family. ‘Despacito’ broke seven Guinness World Records in a year and it’s all thanks to you. Thanks to everyone who worked to achieve this success!”
Luis also thanked his collaborators on the song – Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber – as well as his co-writer and producers.
KENDALL JENNER’S STALKER LOUNGING BY HER POOL? Security can only do so much when you have a mountain in your backyard. Kendall Jenner has another stalker, TMZ reports, and despite seriously upping her security, 37-year-old John Ford scaled the mountain in the back of her ritzy complex and ended up in her backyard, by the pool. By the time her security crew called police, he’d escaped. This was last week, but then he returned again on Tuesday and police caught him. He is being detained on a 5150 psychiatric hold. This isn’t his first time stalking Jenner: Ford was arrested last month for breaking into her community as well.
