ARIANA GRANDE & NICKI MINAJ SHUT DOWN FEUD RUMORS OVER ALBUM RELEASE DATES – (08/03/2018)

Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj are responding to fans on social media speculating that their album release dates are indicating some sort of bad blood.
Nicki had to push her album, Queen, to August 17th, which is also the release date that Ariana’s album, Sweetener, will hit iTunes.
In response to a fan, Ariana wrote, “jesus is this what’s going on today? imma jus stop logging in at all lmfao. that’s my f*cking sister. she’s clearing a sample. buy and stream queen & sweetener aug 17 bye. these numbers don’t mean as much to the artist as they do to y’all. jus want y’all to listen to the project.”
In addition, Ariana wrote, “me n nicki laughed at dat.”
Nicki then responded to the tweet, writing, “I love this woman. Can’t wait for the fans to benefit from all the hard work on both ends. We love your passion. You guys will be VERY happy. Trust. That’s all I’ll say.”
PINK POSTPONES SYDNEY SHOW DUE TO ILLNESS – (08/03/2018)
Pink has been forced to postpone her concert in Sydney, Australia, Friday due to an upper respiratory infection. She announced the news and apologized to fans on Twitter.
“Hi my Sydney friends. It is with great frustration that I bring you this news 🙁 Friday’s show will be postponed,” she wrote. “I was hoping a couple of days of rest would help me kick this sick, but not at the speed I was hoping for. I appreciate your well wishes and understanding + I’m sorry.”
Pink is taking her recovery seriously and asking for suggestions for health and wellness shops in the area.
“Sydney friends: does anyone have a favorite place that makes wellness shots and fresh juices for when I get there? Thanks in advance,” she tweeted. “And how do we feel about Neti-pots. They scare me.”
Pink was supposed to play Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena Friday night as part of the Australian leg of her Beautiful Trauma tour. Her Saturday show at the same venue is still set to go on as planned.
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE PRODUCING “SPIN THE WHEEL” GAME SHOW WITH HUGE CASH PRIZES: Justin Timberlake is producing a new game show with massive cash prizes. Spin the Wheel, set to air on Fox this fall, will offer contestants the chance to win more than $20 million per episode by tackling pop culture trivia and spinning a giant wheel. It’s one of the biggest game show prizes in primetime history. The players will answers trivia questions throughout the show; each right answer adds more prize money to the wheel’s wedges. Each incorrect answer adds wedges that could bring their total back to zero. The concept was created by Justin and Andrew Glassman of Glassman Media. The show will be hosted by Dax Shepard.
SHAWN MENDES, ARIANA GRANDE & LOGIC TO PERFORM AT MTV VMAS 2018: Shawn Mendes, Ariana Grande and Logic have all been confirmed by MTV as performers at the upcoming 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. Logic will join Ryan Tedder for his performance of his new single “One Day” for the first time. Ariana will perform “God Is a Woman,” while Shawn will perform “In My Blood.” As previously announced, Jennifer Lopez will be hitting the stage to perform as this year’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award recipient. The show airs on August 20th.

DEMI LOVATO REPORTEDLY LEAVING THE HOSPITAL THIS WEEK: Demi Lovato will be leaving the hospital in the coming days, according to TMZ. The 25-year-old overdosed last week and has remained in the hospital due to complications. Demi is reportedly doing much better after suffering from extreme nausea and a high fever. A source says Demi’s team is making plans for her to head to rehab, although the decision is ultimately hers. They added that Demi didn’t get help after breaking her sobriety several months ago but her overdose seemed to have scared her enough to seek treatment.
PARIS JACKSON SAYS DEMI’S OVERDOSE DID NOT TRIGGER HER: Paris Jackson took to Instagram Stories to deny reports that she’s headed to rehab after Demi Lovato’s recent hospitalization. “ummmm no?? I haven’t gone to a clinic..someone doesn’t have to almost die for me to know to be healthy, I’ve already had friends OD and die. that’s enough for me,” she wrote in response to a tweet alleging she was headed back to rehab. In 2013, Jackson overdosed on Motrin.
DAN REYNOLDS TAKES THE XBOX GAME PASS CHALLENGE FOR HIS LOVELOUD FOUNDATION; EXPOSES THE ILLUMINATI – (08/02/2018)
Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds took on the Xbox Game Pass Challenge on Friday in support of Loveloud, the foundation Dan founded in 2017 to support LGBTQ+ youth and increase suicide awareness.
In the challenge, Dan had 50 minutes to complete 10 challenges in 10 games, including Halo 5: Guardians and Rocket League, throughout the Xbox Game Pass catalogue. For each challenge completed, he’d rack up $10,000 for the foundation.
In the end, Dan successfully won 10 out of 10 challenges, racking up $10,000 for the Loveloud Foundation. He also beat Usain Bolt as the reigning champion.
Meanwhile, in a series of videos posted to his Twitter, Reynolds jokes that he’s a member of the Illuminati, a secret society that supposedly controls the world.
“The Illuminati’s real,” Reynolds declares. “I’m a member, that’s how Imagine Dragons got famous.”
In another video, Reynolds says he’s “in serious danger” for unmasking the Illuminati, before ticking off a list of famous people who are also members, including Nicolas Cage, Danny DeVito, country star Reba McEntire and the Olsen twins.
CAMILA CABELLO RELEASES ‘BEAUTIFUL’ BAZZI COLLAB – (08/02/2018)
Camila Cabello joins Bazzi on a remix of his track, “Beautiful,” released today. Camila teased the collab on Twitter Wednesday, posting a snippet of the song and writing, “12 pm est tomorrow.”
The 10-second clip features Camila and Bazzi singing in harmony, “I just had to let you know/Swear to God you’re beautiful.”
After Camila said in an interview that she was a big fan of Bazzi’s hit “Mine,” he was tapped to open for her on her on select dates of her Never Be the Same tour this past spring. Camila is currently opening for Taylor Swift on her Reputation tour, as well as playing her own headlining dates. Bazzi’s Cosmic tour wraps next week.
BRITNEY, BACKSTREET, ‘N SYNC, PINK, KATY PERRY HITS MAY FEATURE IN NEW MAX MARTIN MUSICAL – (08/02/2018)
A U.K. musical based on the works of Max Martin, the songwriter who’s penned 22 No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 singles, is in the works.
A casting notice for the production reads, “AUDITIONS – NEW MUSICAL. Love Britney, Adele, Justin, Pink, Katy, Selena, Taylor, Robyn, Justin? This is for you. Music from the man behind their biggest hits – Max Martin.”
The musical, described as being in the “final stages of development,” will use Martin’s “incredible catalogue of songs as inspiration.”
Among the countless Martin co-writes or productions which might be used in the musical: Britney Spears’ “..Baby One More Time,” The Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way,” Adele’s “Send My Love (To Your New Lover),” Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” Katy Perry’s “Roar” and “Teenage Dream,” Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” ‘N SYNC’s “It’s Gonna Be Me” and Pink’s “Raise Your Glass.”
Martin’s tally of 22 No. 1 makes him the third most-successful songwriter in U.S. chart history behind only Paul McCartney (32) and John Lennon (26).

KATY PERRY VISITS HOME OF YOUNG AUSTRALIAN FAN TOO SICK TO ATTEND HER CONCERT – (08/01/2018)
Katy Perry made time on to visit the home of a young fan who was too ill to attend her concert in Adelaide, Australia.
According to Australia’s ABC, the girl, eight-year-old Grace, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in April, and had to have brain surgery last week. She was supposed to go to Katy’s show on Monday, but wasn’t able to. Her sister tweeted about Grace’s plight, and after 20,000 retweets, Katy’s management reached out. Katy dropped by the family’s home yesterday.
Grace described the visit from Katy as “amazing,” adding, “She sang three of her songs and she looked at our bedrooms.”
Video on Facebook shows Katy playing with the family dog and singing her song “Chained to the Rhythm.” Katy also shared footage on her Instagram Story of Grace and her sister modeling Katy Perry Witness tour t-shirts.
HARRY STYLES & CAMILLE ROWE SPLIT – (08/01/2018)
Harry Styles and Camille Rowe are no longer together. The 24-year-old singer and the 28-year-old model and actress have parted ways.
The couple reportedly ended their relationship shortly after Harry wrapped his world tour in support of his debut solo album. Neither Harry nor Camille have yet to issue a statement or address the split themselves.
Rumors first swirled of their involvement around August of last year, when they were seen reportedly “all over each other” while watching Fleetwood Mac’s performance at The Classic East in New York City. Styles reportedly brought her to meet his family around December of 2017. The two never officially confirmed their rumored relationship.
The exes reportedly met through mutual friend Alexa Chung, and Rowe was spotted by fans attending several of his performances over the last few months.
The former One Directioner and Rowe were reportedly together throughout his entire tour. Styles’ first solo tour recently came to an end after a successful round of 89 shows. The singer posted a thank you to his fans on Instagram just after the tour ended to commemorate the end of the era.
DEMI LOVATO’S ‘SOBER’ BACK ON THE CHARTS – (08/01/2018)
Following news of her overdose and hospitalization, Demi Lovato’s “Sober” has re-entered the Hot 100 chart at No. 56, according to Billboard. It had previously reached No. 58 on July 7th, not long after it was released.
The song has seen a 199% increase in streams, and a more than 1,000% increase in downloads since the July 24th incident, which saw Demi rushed to the hospital after overdosing at her Hollywood Hills home.
“Sober,” which Demi described as “my truth,” was how she chose to announce that, after six years of sobriety, she’d fallen off the wagon.
Meanwhile, Demi’s other current single, “Solo” – a collaboration with Clean Bandit – has risen to No. 61 on the Hot 100.
Demi is reportedly experiencing “complications” and remains hospitalized. Those complications include “nausea, vomiting and a high fever,” sources say.
Although she’s expected to “make a full recovery,” there is no estimate as to when she will be released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
CALVIN HARRIS IS FORBES HIGHEST PAID DJ IN THE WORLD FOR SIXTH STRAIGHT YEAR – (08/01/2018)
Calvin Harris still reigns supreme as the highest paid DJ in the world, according to Forbes. He’s topped the World’s Highest Paid DJs list for six years in a row now. The Scottish DJ-producer raked in $48 million in 2017, thanks to six-figure paychecks for his shows in Las Vegas and seven-figure checks for his headlining festival gigs.
Calvin’s success continues into this year: He signed an exclusive performance contract with Vegas and produced a global hit with Dua Lipa, “One Kiss.”
Coming in at No. 2 on the list are The Chainsmokers with $45.5 million, followed by Tiesto with $33 million. Other DJs in the top 15 include Marshmello at No. 5, Zedd at No. 6, Diplo at No. 7, David Guetta at No. 8 and Kygo at No. 12.
