As Kanye West conceded for the presidential race, he quickly announced that he’s not finished with politics. Standing in front of an electoral map, showing the divide between states projected for Trump and those projected for Biden, West simply wrote, “KANYE 2024.” It was just enough to get his social media followers stirred up. Lots encouraged him to continue while others didn’t. One post read: “Bro stick to your music.” and other wrote… “Kanye I love you man, but you’re never gonna become president, so please stop.”
In a post on election day, he admitted that he had never voted until he voted for himself this year.
JUSTIN BIEBER TO PERFORM TWO SONGS AT PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS – (11/05/2020)
Not only is Justin Bieber nominated for seven People’s Choice Awards, but he’s now on the performance schedule. He currently has two hits in the top 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 – “Holy,” featuring Chance the Rapper, and “Lonely,” a collaboration with Benny Blanco. He’s expected to perform both songs. In total, Bieber has had 18 People’s Choice Award nominations since 2011.
Jennifer Lopez will receive the People’s Icon Award and Tyler Perry will be honored with the Champion Award. The show is scheduled to air live on E! November 15.

Ariana Grande is taking the pandemic seriously. She blasted TikTok stars that attended a party at a Los Angeles hotspot called Saddle Ranch and said, “Did we really all need to go to f–king Saddle Ranch that badly that we couldn’t have waited for the deathly pandemic to pass?”
She also had a few things to say about the pandemic in general. She said, “Of all the things that we could have done, couldn’t we have just stayed home for a few more weeks like all the other countries that were fine, and are better off – than we are?”

WARNER BROS. APOLOGIZES FOR CAUSING ‘OFFENSE’ TO DISABILITY COMMUNITY WITH ‘THE WITCHES – (11/05/2020)
Prominent members of the disability community, including Paralympians and the Paralympic Games organizers, have objected to the portrayal of eponymous characters in The Witches, which is based on a Roald Dahl novel of the same name.
In the film, which stars Anne Hathaway, her character is portrayed with hands similar to those of people with the limb abnormality ectrodactyly, otherwise known as “split hand.” The abnormality is characterized by the absence of one or more central digits on the hand or foot.
Swimmer Amy Marren was the first to note the issue. She tweeted at Warner Bros: “was there much thought given as to how this representation of limb differences would effect the limb difference community?!”
Disability advocate Shannon Crossland stated on Instagram that the imagery in the film was “no way a reflection of the original novel written by Roald Dahl”.
“Is this the kind of message we want the next generation to receive. That having three fingers is a witch’s attribute? It is an extremely damaging portrayal. Disability should NOT be associated with evil, abnormality, disgust, fear or monsters,” she added.
A Warner Bros. spokesperson told Deadline it had been “deeply saddened to learn that our depiction of the fictional characters in The Witches could upset people with disabilities” and that it “regretted any offense caused”.
“In adapting the original story, we worked with designers and artists to come up with a new interpretation of the cat-like claws that are described in the book,” they added. “It was never the intention for viewers to feel that the fantastical, non-human creatures were meant to represent them.”
Directed by Robert Zemeckis and co-written by Guillermo del Toro, The Witches was released onHBO Max October 22nd.

Harry Styles and his hair managed to trend on Twitter during the 2020 presidential election.
Teen Vogue reports that on November 2nd, fans became overwhelmed by a photo of the singer on the set of his latest movie, Don’t Worry, Darling. The image showed the singer with short, slicked back hair – a change from his normal curly locks.

Yesterday (November 3rd) Kanye West voted for the first time in his life in the 2020 presidential election — and he voted for himself. The rapper hit the polls in Park County, Wyoming and shared a video where he wrote in his name above his running mate Michelle Tidball. He tweeted, “God is so good. Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it’s for someone I truly trust…me.” He added, “The first vote of my life We are here to serveWe pray for every servant leader in the world.”

In other news, Kim Kardashian-West posted on social media that she voted yesterday (November 3rd) but fans wondered if she actually voted for her husband. KANYE WEST SUED: Workers at his Kanye West Nebuchadnezzar Opera are suing the presidential candidate for $1M. Per The Blast, a hair assistant who worked on the production claims she is owed “unpaid wages, continuing wages, damages, civil penalties, statutory penalties and attorney’s fees and costs,” after her day rate along with other fees were paid late and they were charged for getting their checks. Katy Perry dressed up as a giant “I Voted” sticker costume to encourage people to vote. On Monday (November 2nd), the pop star took to the streets of Los Angeles in a massive headpiece, while waving down cars and yelling at drivers to go vote. The Instagram video was accompanied by the caption, “Tell your mom, tell your dad, tell complete strangers on the street to #VOTENOW.”
Selena Gomez used her Instagram Stories to urge fans in battle-ground states to vote at the polls on Election Day (November 3rd). In the video, the “Rare Singer said, ” Please don’t use mail-in ballots. Please vote in person at this point if you can, especially in my home town like Texas, and Pennsylvania and Florida”
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE CRASHES CALL: Volunteers for Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden were surprised by Justin Timberlake. Meghan Markle is walking the walk after urging people to vote in recent months. The Duchess of Sussex is the first person in the modern royal family to vote in a U.S. presidential election.
In September, in an appearance on the ABC special to mark the annual Time100 issue, she said: “Every four years, we’re told, ‘This is the most important election of our lifetime.’ But this one is. When we vote, our values are put into action, and our voices are heard.”

Ariana Grande has the latest #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Positions.” The song also topped Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts. Grande took to social media to express her gratitude and wrote: “Thank you so, so much and congratulations to the most incredible team.”
She also used the post to persuade voters in today’s Presidential election, she ended with: “This is such an honor, please vote for Biden.”
“Positions” is Grande’s fifth single to reach the #1 position on the Hot 100 and her third single to achieve the feat this year, following her “Stuck with U” collaboration with Justin Bieber and her “Rain On Me” collab with Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga found herself tangled in President Trump’s Twitter feed after stumping for Joe Biden for president. At 2 AM on Monday morning, Trump sent out a tweet about her and then later on, the campaign sent out an official statement about her appearance at a Biden drive-in rally, calling it a “desperate effort to drum up enthusiasm for Biden’s lackluster candidacy.”
Gaga jumped in on the action and replied: “So Happy, I’m Glad to be living rent free in your head. Biden and Harris for President”
Trump also accused her of “mocking Pennsylvania.”
DONALD TRUMP CALLS OUT JAY Z AND BEYONCE DURING RALLY – (11/03/2020)
Donald Trump called out Jay-Z and Beyonce during a rally in Pennsylvania yesterday (November 2nd). After Beyonce officially endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, Trump told his supporters in Scranton, “They got Beyonsee and they got Jay-Z.”
He continued on Jay-Z, “He started using the f-word, you remember. He was using the f-word, f-word, f-word.” Trump was referring to Jay Z and Beyonce’s headlining performance at Clinton’s Ohio rally during her run for presidency.
During the rally, Trump supporters were also heard yelling “Lebron sucks!”
KENDALL JENNER DRAGGED FOR HOSTING MASSIVE HALLOWEEN BASH AMID THE PANDEMIC – (11/03/2020)
The quiet rumble of criticism against the travel and socializing choices members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan have made during the pandemic has turned into a roar. First, Kim Kardashian West threw herself a 40th birthday party last week on a private island, flying friends and family in so they could “pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time,” and then Kendall Jenner threw a 100+ person bash without masks or social distancing for 25th birthday and Halloween.
While there were signs up everywhere begging people not to post on social media, many, including her sister Kylie, ignored her instructions and the blowback she seemed to anticipate hit with a vengeance.
One shot shows Kendall blowing out candles on a birthday cake, breaking multiple coronavirus health guidelines in one fell swoop; an apparently horrified waiter tried to evade her spittle. He, unlike the attendees, was wearing a mask.
Twitter was peeved, and didn’t understand why she couldn’t see this happening. Wrote one: “i’m still in awe of kendall jenner’s chaos of inviting influencers and models and her sister to her birthday and expecting them to read and follow these rules.”
Miley Cyrus seemed pretty furious too. She reportedly unfollowed celebs who attended, plus Kendall and Kylie.

OFFICIALS SLAM TRUMP’S CLAIM ON SEAN CONNERY – (11/03/2020)
The former First Minister of Scotland is among the officials debunking President Donald Trump’s claim that Sean Connery supported him during his fight to get a golf course built on a nature preserve. Connery died at age 90, his family revealed over the weekend.
“Scotland and much of the world is mourning the loss of a great spirit. Sean Connery’s contribution and life’s work was immense, real and lasting and everyone with an ounce of class is reflecting upon just that today,” Alex Salmond, who served as Scotland’s First Minister from 2007 to 2014, said in a statement. “Tributes are great from all sources but this is not a time for tweeting silly claims or indeed responding to them.”
“The legendary actor, 007 Sean Connery, has past on to even greener fairways. He was quite a guy, and a tough character. I was having a very hard time getting approvals for a big development in Scotland when Sean stepped in and shouted, ‘Let him build the damn thing,’” Trump claimed on Twitter. “That was all I needed, everything went swimmingly from there. He was so highly regarded & respected in Scotland and beyond that years of future turmoil was avoided. Sean was a great actor and an even greater man. Sincere condolences to his family!”
