KELLY CLARKSON TO HOST VIRTUAL BABY SHOWER TO CELEBRATE NEW MOMS & MOMS-TO-BE – (05/08/2020)
Kelly Clarkson teamed with Carter’s for “ShowHER Love,” an online baby shower event that will feature giveaways, special guests and inspirational stories.
Only 100 lucky new moms and moms-to-be will be able to participate; enter now through May 23rd at ShowHerLove.Carters.com for your chance to join the fun.
Among other prizes, all the participants will receive Carter’s products for a year, and Kelly will regale them with personal stories and advice from her experience as a mom and stepmom to four kids. Celebrity cameos and surprises will round out the special day.
“The one thing that your friends and your family get to throw for you is a party to celebrate,” Clarkson said of her inspiration for teaming up with Carter’s for the campaign. “It’s a bummer that all these ladies are missing out.”
Kelly opened up to People about life at home lately “in the middle of Montana” as she, husband Brandon Blackstock, their 4-year-old son Remington “Remy” Alexander, their daughter River Rose, 6 next month, and Blackstock’s 13-year-old son Seth continue to practice social distancing during the global health crisis. Blackstock’s daughter Savannah, 18, lives in Florida.
“We actually took our nanny with us because I knew I would have to still work, We were very smart in bringing Allie along,” Clarkson says, joking adding, “She’s probably about to drive into a lake.”
She said, “It’s so hard to keep your mind and emotional state together. We’re used to going to a place of business and working and then coming home and that’s your relaxed place, and that’s where you have fun. The same thing for kids [with school].”
“On top of that, we thought we were going to be here for a minute, but we didn’t know we were going to be here this long and we don’t have a home here. So we’ve been staying in a cabin,” Clarkson shares. “We’ve been in really close quarters and it’s been kind of nuts, I’m not going to lie.”

ADELE’S PERSONAL TRAINER SPEAKS OUT AMID DEBATES ABOUT HER WEIGHT LOSS – (05/08/2020)
Adele’s former personal trainer, Pete Geracimo, has come to her defense after seeing “negative commentary” regarding the singer’s dramatic weight loss.
Adele showed off her weight loss earlier this week as she celebrated her 32nd birthday. Geracimo revealed on Instagram that despite “fat-phobic accusations” made against the star, it was never about weight loss, but about getting healthy.
“It’s disheartening to read negative commentary and fat-phobic accusations questioning the genuineness of her amazing weight loss,” Geracimo wrote on Instagram of a photo of himself training Adele during a swim session. “I could not be prouder or happier for her! This metamorphosis is not for album sales, publicity or to be a role model. She is doing it for herself and for [son] Angelo.
“My hope is that people appreciate the hard work that Adele has done to improve herself for the benefit to her and her family only,” he continued. “She did not lose the weight to make others feel bad about themselves. This personal transformation has nothing to do with me or you. It’s about Adele and how she wants to live her life. She has not changed from the Adele we grew up with and have loved. There is just a little less of her to go around.”
