DRAKE JOINS THE ALL IN CHALLENGE – (04/17/2020)
Drake is the latest celebrity to join Michael Rubin‘s All In Challenge after being challenged by Tom Brady. In a video shot at his Toronto mansion, the rapper said that the winner will get to fly on his Virgil Abloh-designed private jet dubbed Air Drake. Once on board, they will receive an OVO and Nike care package before traveling to L.A. to party with Drake and friends at Delilah in West Hollywood.
The prize also includes round-trip airfare on Air Drake for the winner plus seven guests and two-night hotel accommodations for eight people. He will also provide the winner with four tickets to one of his upcoming shows in their hometown.
The rapper was supposed to challenge three people, but instead decided to open to challenge to anyone. He explained, “I really just want to challenge anybody who’s willing to step up for this cause. We all need it right now. We all need the love, we need the relief.”
Fans can enter for a chance to win for as little as $10. All the money raised from the auction will provide food for Americans amid the coronavirus crisis through non-profit organizations including Feeding America, Meals On Wheels, World Central Kitchen, and No Kid Hungry.
Other celebs that have also donated unique experiences and items to the “All In Challenge” including Justin Timberlake, Meek Mill, Yo Gotti, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen DeGeneres, Kevin Hart, and Quavo.
FANS REACT TO MICHAEL CHE’S MOVE TO PAY RENT IN HONOR OF GRANDMOTHER – (04/17/2020)
Saturday Night Live star Michael Che is paying tribute to his late grandmother Martha, who recently died of the coronavirus. He shared his decision to pay one month’s rent for 160 people living in his grandmother’s public housing complex in NYC.
He wrote: “It’s crazy to me that residents of public housing are still expected to pay their rent when so many New Yorkers can’t even work. Obviously I can’t offer much help by myself. But in the spirit and memory of my late grandmother, I’m paying one month’s rent for all 160 apartments in the NYCHA building she lived in. I know that’s just a drop in the bucket so I really hope the city has a better plan for debt forgiveness for all the people in public housing, at the very least.”
Fans were impressed, especially considering he lacks the budget many Hollywood heavyweights have. One wrote: “The man just paid what amounts to a 6 figure yearly salary to cover the rent for a bunch of strangers. The guy is on SNL, he doesn’t exactly have George Clooney money!” Another opined, “I’m so sorry he lost his grandmother. He’s doing a wonderful thing in her name. A good man.”

CHADWICK BOSEMAN SPARKS CONCERN AFTER PHOTO SHOWING WEIGHT LOSS – (04/17/2020)
Fans are concerned about Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman after seeing images of him online. Boseman popped up on social media to promote Operation 42, a $4.2 million fundraiser for personal protective equipment. The PPE is destined for hospitals that cater to African-American communities hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.
The name, as many noted, is a reference to his role as Robinson in the 2013 film 42. And as thrilled as many were to see the fundraiser, many also pointed out his thinner frame.
“I hope your [sic] okay, your appearance has changed,” one follower wrote.
“Dude, I’m all in for this, but please reassure your fan base about your health ’cause even I am starting to be kinda worried,” wrote another.
TBD if the weight loss is for a role. He is slated to appear in the TV series The Black Child and Black Panther II.

LEONARDO DICAPRIO, ROBERT DE NIRO OFFER GIG TO FAN IN FUND-RAISER – (04/16/2020)
Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro have offered a chance for a fan to get a walk-on role in their upcoming film, Killers of the Flower Moon, directed by Martin Scorsese. The winner will spend a day on the set and be able to go to the premiere.
The fund-raising project, called The All in Challenge, was launched by Fanatics founder Michael Rubin and has stars auctioning off experiences to raise funds to feed the elderly, children and frontline workers amid the pandemic.
Meals on Wheels America, No Kid Hungry and America’s Food Fund are dispersing the donations. Now, DiCaprio and De Niro challenged Matthew McConaughey, Ellen DeGeneres and Jamie Foxx.
DeGeneres accepted the challenge and said that she and wife Portia de Rossi will donate $1 million to the fund, and is offering an opportunity for fans to donate and “win” co-hosting duties on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She then challenged Justin Timberlake and Laura Dern.
McDonaughey also accepted and offered fans a chance to join him at the University of Texas football game. He then challenged Jimmy Kimmel and Jonah Hill.
Other stars have also recently put together major fundraisers. Octavia Spencer, Aimee Carpenter, Leslee Feldman, Melissa McCarthy and husband Ben Falcone are teaming up with Frontline Foods to deliver meals to hospitals from nearby restaurants across the country.
“We saw the incredible work that Frontline Foods and their army of volunteers were doing nationwide. This can benefit both the frontline healthcare workers who risk their lives every day in order to save ours and the local restaurants who are desperately trying to keep their lights on and pay their staff in these economically devastating times. Every little bit counts, whether it’s 5, 50 or 5000 dollars. It can make a real a difference,” said McCarthy and Falcone in a statement.

After recovering from her scary bout with COVID-19, Pink is giving back to those in need.
The singer posted on Instagram that she made a huge batch of soup to donate. She shared photos of the cooking process and the final products, all packaged and ready to go. She pointed out that she had mislabeled the soup containers with the wrong date, writing March instead of April. “I wrote 3/20 Because I lost a month somehow. Whoops,” she wrote.
Pink recently revealed that she and her son Jameson both contracted COVID-19.
“Two weeks ago my three-year-old son, Jameson, and I are were showing symptoms of COVID-19. Fortunately, our primary care physician had access to tests and I tested positive,” Pink wrote in an April 3rd Instagram post. “My family was already sheltering at home and we continued to do so for the last two weeks following the instruction of our doctor. Just a few days ago we were re-tested and are now thankfully negative.”
She also announced a $1 million donation, split between two COVID-19 relief charities in Philadelphia and Los Angeles.
Pink reflected on battling the virus, which has infected nearly 2 million people worldwide, during a virtual appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday. “This is the scariest thing I’ve ever been through in my whole life,” she told DeGeneres through tears. “It really is just a rollercoaster.” “We are doing all right, we are doing okay this week,” Pink later added. “I don’t even know what day it is but this is a better week than the last.”
During an Instagram Live chat last week with her friend and author, Jen Pastiloff, Pink said that while she and Jameson both got sick, her husband, Carey Hart, and their 8-year-old daughter, Willow Sage, have been healthy.
