The 2019 Season of Mountain Meisters is under way at Cranmore and today was Kevin Hamlin‘s BIG debut on the Mountain Meister Recap with Gino on the Magic Morning Show!

Kevin talked about how the Meister Team dealt with Tuesday night’s storm, the Top Meisters of the Week, and also gave us a sneak peek into what’s happening next week over at Cranmore for February Vacation.

This morning for our Attitash Race League Report, Local Ski Expert and Attitash Race League Director Corey Madden stopped by and told us all about Race Week #5.

Corey talked about the “high spirited” day they had and how everyone was really positive about the change of the course! He also gave us a heads up on all the great things happening over at Attitash and Wildcat to kick off February Vacation Week!

The Fryeburg Academy‘s Robotics Team is headed to the State Championship after winning first place at the Southern Maine Vex Robotics League finals at Cape Elizabeth High School back on Tuesday, January 22nd.

David Sartory, Fryeburg Academy‘s Robotics Coach and Computer Science Teacher stopped by the Magic Morning Show today to talk with Gino about making it to the championship and what the robotics team is all about. Joining David on the show was students and team members; Tonia Zakrochemna and Artem Laptier (both from Ukraine), and Nico Zakon of Fryeburg.

The Vex Robotics League State Championship competition will be held in South Portland, ME at the Point Community Center on February 23rd and will host over 50 teams from across the state in an all-day tournament.

We wish them the best of luck and hope they can bring home the title!
