Participate in the DIY Winni Dip this year for Special Olympics New Hampshire!
Special Olympics New Hampshire is excited to bring you a brand new approach to the Winni Dip in 2021, aimed to offer everything you love about the Dip, while encouraging you to participate safely wherever you are. You’ll still be able to get cold and earn bragging rights, compete for prizes like best costume and top fundraiser, earn incentives for the funds that you raise…and support more than 3,000 Special Olympics New Hampshire athletes across the granite state! Take the Dip on March 6th and 7th! You will receive a Dip Tank that contains everything you need for your DIY Dip: a party pack, snack pack, and any incentives that you’ve earned. Once you receive your Dip Tank, you are set to Dip however you’d like.
All Dippers must sign a waiver before Plunging, either online or paper form. Individuals under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian complete their waiver.
Get creative, this is your year to do it your way! Take video or photos of your Dip, add them to your fundraising page and be sure to tag #SONHDip on social media.

Important Dates to Remember
Tuesday, March 2nd: All Dippers should meet the $350 fundraising minimum by this date to guarantee their Dip Tanks by 3/6 & 3/7.
Thursday, March 4th and Friday, March 5th: Your Dip Tank will be delivered to you.
Saturday March 6th and Sunday, March 7th: DIP!

Cold/freezing/frozen water presents obvious and not-so-obvious dangers and is risky at any depth to people of any age, mobility, or health status. You must exercise caution and personal responsibility in your DIY Dip activities. SONH cannot identify or control the risk of every DIY Dip activity and has not endorsed or approved as safe for any particular Dip activity.
Be smart, be safe and be careful in whatever form your DIY Dip takes you, follow applicable water (and freezing water) safety and COVID-19 protocols. Have fun with it, but most importantly, BE SAFE!

Local Girl Scout Troop 10615 to Offer Cookie Booths – February 13th & 20th
Are you ready to enjoy your favorite Girl Scout cookie? Local Girl Scout Troop 10615 is setting up shop – and although this year the booth and process may look a bit different, they will still be selling the same amazing Girl Scout favorites at the same price as years past.
According to Troop 10615’s Girl Scout Ambassador Anya Nicoll, their goal is to sell over 2000 boxes to help fund their work towards their Girl Scout Silver and Gold Awards, which are girl-led projects that benefits our local communities and allows the girls to develop critical leadership skills. “This past year, we had three girls, Molly DellaValla, Autumn Verran, and Tava Nicoll, achieve their Silver Awards and everyone else, myself included, is still working hard on our projects!”
Due to Covid-19, Troop 10615 will be limiting the number of booths that they normally offer. They will be conducting two booths at the North Conway Walmart, Saturday, February 13th and February 20th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you are unable to get to one of these dates, please contact them at 603.493.3325 and they will work to arrange a contactless delivery to your home in the valley.
