Feel Good Story of the Week: 10-Year-Old Shows Gratitude to Hospital Staff by Cleaning Their Cars During a Snowstorm
Christian Stone of Westerly, Rhode Island, set off on a mission to clean as many cars as possible in the Westerly Hospital parking lot. The 10-year-old wanted to show his appreciation for health care workers by removing the snow and ice from their cars after the recent snowstorm. Accompanied by family friend Abbey Meeker, Stone arrived at the hospital at 2 p.m., and over the next several hours, as the temperature dropped and the snow kept falling, they cleaned 80 cars. Stone said some doctors and nurses offered to pay them, but he was adamant that this was a free service.

Box Office Recap – 02/08/2021
Super Bowl weekend is always a tough one for the box office. This time around, Warner Bros’ The Little Things, starring Denzel Washington, Jared Leto and Rami Malek, topped the box office with $2.1 million receipts, down 55% from its first weekend out.
Croods: A New Age came in second place, with $1.76, and The Marksman rounded out the top three with $1M.
Observers note that despite the controversy over Warner Bros’ decision to release the films in theaters and HBO Max simultaneously, the films are making bank, especially compared to Netflix’s films which are also released on the streamer and in theaters simultaneously.
