Police had put out an announcement that they were looking for Cox this past Monday after he was suspected of being involved with several vehicle thefts from residencies in Conway, Tamworth, and Fryeburg over the past two weeks. Veterans Day Parade in Conway
Conway residents turned out to watch the procession of Veterans, a Humvee, the Kennett High school Marching Band, and Scouts as they made their way from John H. Fuller Elementary school to Schouler Park today. The ceremony in North Conway included a flag presented on an empty seat dedicated to those Prisoners of War or Missing in Action that remain unrecovered but never forgotten and a fitting volley-fire salute to taps. Prayers and comments from the American Legion were also part of the ceremony but the most notable part of all this year was perhaps the attendance of retired four-star Air Force General Lori Robison who previously headed up the United States Northern Command and NORAD among other commands.

Box Office Recap – 11/11/2019
‘MIDWAY’ TOPS B.O. WITH $17.5M – (11/11/2019)
The top movie at the box office this weekend is Lionsgate’s Midway with $17.5 million in receipts. Roland Emmerich’s $70 million – $100 million World War II action flick hit theaters with mixed reviews, and the biggest star is Nick Jonas, though Ed Skrein, Patrick Wilson, Luke Evans were also featured.
Still, the film topped Warner Bros.’ Stephen King adaptation Doctor Sleep, which was expected to scoop up the top slot. The sequel to 1980’s The Shining debuted at No. 2 with $14.1 million, about half of what was expected. The critical reaction (73% on Rotten Tomatoes vs. Midway’s 41%) was more positive, but thus far, that hasn’t proved to be a winning draw.
“Roland Emmerich is a visionary filmmaker, and audiences loved the movie,” said David Spitz, Lionsgate’s president of domestic distribution. “What’s really terrific about the results is it sets us up to play throughout the holidays, knowing that the older demo doesn’t rush out.”
Meanwhile, Joker, starring Joaquin Phoenix, is nearing the $1 billion mark at the box office, making it the most profitable comic book film ever released.
